We were amazed at this experience. From the drive, the view, the hot tub, the stained glass and wood stove. We will be making this a yearly vacation. AMAZING.
Had a great time relaxing in this cozy cabin. Could it be updated? Yes But honestly it feels like going to your grandmas cabin away in the mountains. Loved the seclusion and the homieness of it. Would stay here again!
We spent an extended weekend at the cabin and had a wonderful time. It was secluded but felt very safe. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals every night. Hot tub was super relaxing. The cabin has a fun layout as well!
The only thing that was maybe a little scary- There were bees getting inside the cabin somewhere, which would surprise us every now and then but didn’t bother us at night at all. This may be expected since it’s somewhat rustic.
Great place overall. Could use just a little up keep. But very lets just say cozy.
As I said needs a little TLC. As one knows in Colorado 75 degrees can be warm. The cabin has two sets of sliding doors on the west side. But they do not operate. Also door on that side, none of which have screens on them. Plus double doors up stairs, none of which have a screen on them. When you do open the doors to get a draft through the cabin. It feels very nice. But you don't want to just leave them open for bugs and critters to come in. Some Screens would help with this. Also outside lighting was not to great on the deck. two lights by the one opening door worked. The other four on the main part of the deck did not. Had to move the grill over in to the light to cook on it. Could make the view off the deck just a little better with some tree trimming. Other then theses small issues. The wife and I loved the location.
Perfect place away from the city. The hot tub was wonderful after hiking during the day. Close to many hiking trails, as well as driving into Manitou Springs. Loved watching the deer, chipmunks, and black squirrels from the deck while drinking my morning coffee. Great directions from the host.
the property was fine, had some communication issues at first when checking in and getting the key but the contact for the property did answer the phone and gave me the instructions I needed quickly and we had no further problems. The bed could have been a little more comfortable and the doors are a little warn out but the living room is great and also enjoyed the hot tub.
An update in rugs, towels, couch is needed. Maybe a new grill brush. There’s a board loose on the porch that could cause an accident. However! We had a great time. Able to prepare good meals with the groceries we brought. The hot tub was a definite plus. The peace and quiet….priceless.
My wife and I loved everything about this cabin it was amazing and definitely will return.

Very unclean- nice location - come prepared
Great location - great view - very unclean-hair in the shower drain - cobwebs everywhere - pillows are cheap and pretty useless - there is a wood burning stove - but you must get your own firewood and it isn’t easy to find in town- if you want to use the hot tub - it’s a 2 person job to get the cover off - because the cover is old and saturated so it’s very heavy and there is no lift. It’s a unique place but the uncleanliness was very off putting - I can’t recommend it .
The pictures don’t do it justice! The cabin was absolutely adorable with lots of fun little things to explore and find. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be returning.
The property was beautiful and quaint. Very secluded. If you want to go and do things it’s neat to stay in a hotel. If you just want peace and quiet this is your place! We saw deer and the stars were amazing under the hot tub. Receptacles in both bathrooms do not work, even after we reset breakers. They have basic amenities for cooking and people have left basics behind like salt, pepper and other seasonings.
