PLEASE NOTE*** As a mountain cabin, you will need a higher clearance vehicle. Our property is best suitable for 4 wheel-drive, Subaru's are ok if the clearance is there. You will enter a short area of national forest that will require a little more clearance that we are not able to maintain. During the months of October thru May, you must have four-wheel drive/SUV or you will risk the possibility of getting stuck if a storm rolls through. We do plow, however it is a mountain cabin and your safety and comfort is best to be prepared. Your stay, the views, and comfort will be well worth it!

This place was perfect for our family. In addition to great communication from Tara We had everything we needed while we were there. It was fun to walk around the property from the back porch, the beds were comfortable, wood was provider for the sore place (thank you), the hot tub was WONDERFUL but nothing beats the view. We really enjoyed our stay
This little cabin is tucked away nicely and has the most beautiful views of the mountains. I loved soaking in the hot tub early in the morning, watching the sun rise, listening to nature. Would definitely recommend.
This was such a nice weekend getaway with our friends. The cabin was so beautiful and perfect, it had everything you could think of and pet friendly too! What else can you ask for? The town is located close by and so many tasty restaurants in the area. Tara was very thorough with instructions and the directions to get here were easy to follow. I will definitely be back, and thank you so much for the donuts they were delicious!
The views from back porch were amazing and being able to hike straight from cabin was absolutely perfect. Only took 20min to get into town if I wanted to venture out. I got there on an unexpected snow storm day and unfortunately got stuck in snow/ice trying to get to cabin. Luckily the owner pulled up right behind me, loaded my stuff and my dog into his truck and got us safely to the cabin. Very much appreciated!! Me and my dog Arlo had everything we needed there until I could get to my car. The owners checked in on me and made sure I got my car back safely too. They were great and thank you so much for letting us use your place for a much needed, relaxing getaway.
Awesome property and the hosts are even better. Best stay away from home we could possibly ask for. Views of Pikes Peak were unobstructed and absolutely amazing!!! We are looking forward to our next stay already.
This was the perfect spot for a summer getaway to enjoy nature. The best view of the mountain and the cabin was so homey and comfortable. The hosts were also very welcoming and provide great tips on things to do. The local farmers market was so much fun and pikes peak was just a short drive away. Highly recommend this cabin as a place to stay.
Cabin was perfect as shown, hot tub and back view of pikes peak was perfect as shown, LOVED Tara!! she helped us answer any questions about the property or things to do in the area, or if she didn't know the answer she found out for us. It was a great family get away with our dogs as well. Very comfortable cabin.
Had a great long weekend relaxing in the mountains. It's a perfect get away for a couple. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, taking in the beautiful views and even got to see a bear! Very exciting!
Thanks for sharing your quaint little cabin in the woods!
The photos dont do this retreat justice! You will be isolated on a large property with beautiful views. All the amenities of a home, in an adorable little A-frame. Weve spent time in about a dozen cabin rentals in these mountains and this is easily the best value for the price and all you get. The hosts are amazing and had an adorable little welcpme package waiting for us. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset is pure heaven. Make sure you keep this one in mind. Final 1/4 mile of dort road can be a little tough if you dont have a 4x4/suv and some decent ground clearance. We will be back 1000%.
