Welcome to Rock Creek Haven. Nestled in the tiny town of Chipita Park, Colorado. This wonderful home is walking distance to the village of Green Mountain Falls. It is surrounded by beautuful, mountains, wildlife, nature and hiking trails.
The 1940's cabin has been completely remodeled. Featuring an open floor plan, comfy beds, plush furniture, fully equipped kitchen, high speed internet and everything you need to make your stay in the mountains of Colorado a perfect one.
Located along a paved, main road, its easy to get to and easier to stay.
World Class skiing at Breckenridge and many other resorts is only an hour and half to 2 hours away!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put away dishes Strip all pillowcases and sheets. Leave on top of used beds. Gather all towels and leave in the bathtub. Collect garbage, including bathroom and bedrooms. Set out the back door
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great Place

Over 40 Birthday Getaway

Our initial impressions matched what we actually experienced. Apart from a minor issue, which the host provided a work around for in short order, this place was amazing. Location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit, the hiking nearby was incredible, and the people we came across were really friendly. Our host was awesome and we highly recommend their property for future visitors.

AMAZING

I can't fully explain how amazing this place is. My family and I always like to plan based off location. THIS LOCATION IS HEAVEN! Green Mountain Falls has a nice park area and an amazing Cafe called The Pantry that is a MUST. We had no issues at all. The Host was very communicative, and responds very fastly. The place had everything we need! And let me tell you, as somone who loves central air, you will not need it! I'm already planning my next trip to come back. This location is definitely in my top 3 and I travel often for work and leisure.

Location was pretty convenient with nice little trail with creek. Close and personnel with local deers was really nice. How was nice. Stipulations for pets was not fully disclosed until right before visit days. Communication with property owner was good.

Stunning Stay in the Rockies

Words cannot describe how fantastic this stay was. This was a BIG trip for my friend and I, so we knew it had to be special. This renovated cabin is cozy, comfortable, in the middle of the wilderness, while also being able to get to and from places very easily. Colorado Springs and Colorado City are only 20 minutes away if you want to grab a tasty dinner. While parks such as the Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, and Red Rocks are easy drives. Or if you want to keep it local, there's a walking trail right across the street! Summer was an excellent host and easy to reach in case of problems. The check-in/check-out processes were breezes. Already talking about coming back!

Lovely Property and Great Manager

It was a great stay in this little mountain retreat. Lovely close location to trails. The property manager, Summer, was extremely kind and accommodating of us and for that we are most grateful. Loved this little property!

Great place and wonderful host!

This was a fantastic place to stay! Clean and adorable. Summer is a fantastic host and gave me all the information I needed ahead of time to make the stay great. She responded extremely quickly to any question I had and was super friendly and kind. It was a great location to what we needed for the week (and just minutes from a Walmart and Starbucks!) and I would stay here again!

Our stay experience

The property overall was very nice. Very clean and well kept. However there were a few things that I feel should be expressed. One being we had no control of the climate during our stay. I was told to call or text to have it adjusted which I did and no response. I’ve never stayed anywhere that I have not been able to control the climate. Secondly, you are not informed that the master bedroom faces a road that cars fly down all day and night. It’s a little difficult to sleep with that going on and also a little eerie with some of the vehicles speeding through there. It’s a very cute little house nestled in a wonderful little area but I feel like people should be informed of things before booking a stay.

Fantastic place!

The whole family loved Rock Creek Haven! It was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean! Nothing about it felt like a rental-you can tell that Summer goes out of her way to make it feel like home. The check in and check out process are easy and well detailed. And, we loved the book of info and recommendations for area attractions and eateries. The one thing that I hadn't expected is that the cabin is sandwiched between two streets with little yard. It's not as though it was advertised as having a big yard, it just wasn't what I pictured when I thought of a mountain cabin. It would not deter me from staying there again, but just something to keep in mind if you're traveling with younger kiddos for safety purposes. But, overall, everything was lovely and I highly recommend Rock Creek Haven!

Perfect!

Summer's cabin is the perfect spot for visiting the Springs! Close to everything with mountain atmosphere and views. We stayed in Divide last year and elevation gave us headaches. Did not experience any of that this time. Cabin had just the right touches to make us feel at home!

This place was amazing

We loved the place it was nice ,quite beautiful scenery. We had deer in the yard . They just looked at us never ran . I highly recommend. this place . We plan on coming back to Colorado again and will definitely book this place again . summer was great it was after dark when we arrived got lost and she helped us find the right way . Amazing Find!

This is a great property. With three adults and one child, it was a perfect place for our group. We had everything we needed at the house and amenities nearby. Aside from all the normal tourist attractions, the area of Green Mountain Falls with a pleasant surprise. Summer has a great list of places and things in her book at the house. We are already planning a return visit.

Great area to stay, close to hiking and nature, but still close enough to all the awesome things CO Springs and the area have to offer. Summer was helpful and unintrusive. Has several things to make the stay easier, thoughtful provisions such as extra cell charger, wine cork, etc. Enjoyed the trip.
