This beautiful, mountain hideaway is tucked away in its own private valley near the end of a cul-de-sac where the only passersby is you. The meadow is graced with wildflowers and frequently visited by wildlife including deer, fox and the occasional bear. Relax on the deck and take in the panoramic views of pine and aspen forests on the surrounding hillsides. Soaking in the hot tub on a moonless night will open up another world, with more stars in the sky than you could ever imagine. Your vacation spot is conveniently located between Divide and Cripple Creek, less than a mile off the main highway, on a county-maintained road that is accessible year-round. Perfect spot to spend time with our family. Cozy, comfortable, great location! The fireplace and hot tub were a big hit. Loved having an en-suite in the primary bedroom! Should we find ourselves back in Divide, CO, we hope this property is still available.Loved the wildlife visitors!!!
Great cabin in a secluded area. Close enough to see the sites but far enough to enjoy the peaceful setting of nature. The kids loved exploring outside and the hot tub was great after a day of walking/hiking.
Great place for family to stay. Property was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. We came prepared with a 4x4, which we highly recommend, though the little Mitsubishi sedan another family member arrived in did fine. Beautiful views and far enough away from civilization to get that isolated feel. We highly recommend this stay!
The property has beautiful views and the cabin was cozy, perfect for our family of four. Would definitely stay there again! Jason and Renee are very thorough and made our vacation seamless and smooth. We just sat back and relaxed and enjoyed every minute of it!
The property was beautiful, the location was secluded and exactly what we were looking for. My whole family really enjoyed the provided sleds and hot tub! The hosts were very responsive and hospitable.
Beautiful property with amazing views. I just didn't realize it was almost an hour away from Colorado springs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay however. Even had a visitor early one morning (a bear)! Easy to communicate with the host. Had enough room for everyone to enjoy. The hot tub was a plus. This was our first time in Colorado, and we will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful week at this amazing little cabin in the mountains. The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. We were able to see the amazing aspens in their fall splendor. As suggested we drove to Cripple Creek, a must see. I would recommend anyone wanting a private getaway to consider this lovely home.
This house had everything we needed. The host had great communication, including warning us about the state of the road as we came in. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was. 10/10
We had a fantastic trip! The cabin is super clean and well kept. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious and there are such great views and trails nearby. We loved stargazing from the hot tub at night.
Jason and Renee were incredibly communicative throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much!
We absolutely loved our stay, beautiful views, the owners were very responsive and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed and things we didnt even know we needed. My only complaint is it does not have AC and we were hoping to be able to roam around and explore but we were not aloud. All in all we had a great time and would definitely come back
The house was very clean, maybe even cleaner than mine! It was well stocked with just about everything you'd need to make a meal. The hot tub was a big plus. Just be careful with the turn onto Valley Road if you have a long vehicle. We couldn't make it without backing up. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
The property is as described and very well appointed. Very clean and easy access to lots of activities. The master bed was very firm. It was difficult going from ours to that level of firmness but we did eventually get comfortable. The hot tub at the end of long days exploring was amazing! Would definitely stay again!
We had a great stay. The location is great to be able to get to things to do, yet still be secluded in the mountain. We went to Royal Gorge Railroad, COG Railway for Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek, Mueller State Park, Horsethief trail, and Florissant Fossil Beds. All within an easy drive, and the come back to relax in own space and enjoy the hot tub! We had some deer come through. We had everything we needed, and cabin was very nice and clean. It was a great experience for a family vacation. My kids loved the assortment of games, and we read books from the library.
This property was perfect for us. It was at the end of the road, surrounded by aspens and evergreens. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of playing tourists at the many attractions within an hours drive. When weather turned spicy and we needed to go inside, the couch fit all 5 of us as we caught up on 3 years apart. Wifi allowed us to stay in touch with family back home so they didn't worry.
Very comfortable cabin with all you need for a getaway
Everything about this cabin is great, and we very much enjoyed our stay. It was all clean and neat, the kitchen had everything we needed, everything worked... It was cozy and comfy, yet still had enough space for us all to laze around reading and playing games. It's just the right distance from towns and activities if you want to go explore or get food, or you can just stay at the cabin and not see a single person if you don't want to.
Beautiful views, day and night. Hot tub was great. Games, books, and movies provided were appreciated. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tub. Sleds were also appreciated and there are some perfect sledding hills.
The hosts were wonderful - we arrived after a large snow storm, and they stayed in communication with us about the status of us being able to access the cabin. They spent most of the day of our arrival shoveling and digging out the cabin, hot tub, and furnace vent, which was very much appreciated. They could easily have cancelled our stay, but they went above and beyond.
Would definitely recommend.
Cozy, well-appointed cabin in a beautiful setting. Great location for exploring the area. The hosts were very attentive and even reached out to say the cabin would be ready prior to check-in time. We would love to stay again. It was wonderful!
