"Home owner was friendly. The vrbo consisted of a very small room with 2 twin beds and a bathroom area. It was also quite a drive to downtown Charleston. So overall we got what we paid for it just wasn't a good fit for us. But could be a good fit for others."

I do want to mention no drapes on the large living room window or glass back door could be a safety issue for future guests, we were able to drape a light covering on the front window for nighttime privacy so it didn’t diminish our time there. "We spent Christmas at this property and had a wonderful visit with our daughter and granddaughter. The location was a bonus - quiet neighborhood but close to shopping and restaurants. With so much room, our granddaughter spent one night with us which was a plus. The backyard patio with a table and chairs was a great spot! We sat outside and watched two beautiful sunsets while we were there. Fortunately, the weather was perfect. It is also a perfect place for joggers or walkers since it is right on the golf course which has a sidewalk all around it. I noticed other reviews mentioned the kitchen accommodations - we cooked Christmas dinner easily except we could have used a couple of saucepans. Other than that, we had a plethora of dishes for our dinner. Also, I will endorse what other reviewers have said about the host, Jeannette. She was prompt in answering any question I had. A great host! We had a very nice stay!"

"I was looking for a house with four bedrooms that was close to the hospital for our family to welcome a new grandbaby. This house was just what we needed. I would definitely stay there again.I will note that there are a few things in the house that could use a little TLC. All of the drawers in the downstairs bedroom are broken. The corner of the stovetop is also cracked but did not affect its function. The downstairs bathroom window could also use some covering. It faces the woods, but if anyone goes on the back deck, they can see inside the bathroom. (We put something over it while we were there.)Again, none of these things would keep me from staying there again. The host was friendly and quick to respond to questions."

"1st renters in this house, beautiful house located in Whitehall of of dorchester road near ashley phosphate. Plenty of beds, all memory foams, very comfortable. Playroom is great, the boy had fun on the slide. The house was very clean and little signs of its age. Nice gazebo and deck. Quiet neighborhood, didn't hear any dogs barking. nice kitchen amenities, coffee maker which my wife loved. The host is very fast in responding to any issues, which we just had questions about the fire place. "
