Great for families!! Property is so well kept

The villa and property grounds were beautiful, the food was not good and at and the service wasn’t must better... slow service and even slower butler, which we paid for.. we saw him one time

Wonderful stay! Hugo, Sergio, Marco and Daniella were amazing. We stayed in the Altitude suites which we highly recommend.

My adult daughter and I spent 8 nights at the Krystal Grand in San Jose del Cabo in January. We originally booked an Ocean View Junior Suite but upgraded to an Altitude Ocean Front before arrival. Because of that, I never saw what an Ocean View room looked like, but we were very happy to be in the Altitude tower Ocean Front. Our room was on the 7th floor which was very convenient to access the Sky Lounge on the roof top, just one floor up. There is one elevator for the building which is noisy and a little unsettling but it always got the job done. As an Altitude guest, we did get some extra perks which definitely made the vacation better. The benefits included: access to the Sky Lounge (open 3-10 pm on the roof top; it was never busy)...access to a special palapa with it's own bar, snacks, coffee and cold drinks...access to a la carte restaurants for breakfast and lunch...a concierge to make reservations for dinner. Because of the a la carte options, we only ate at the buffet once. Food was acceptable; nothing fancy. The breakfasts were always hot and fresh and the lunch options included yummy burgers, chicken fingers, fries, etc. Our only bad experience with food was in Ayami, the Asian restaurant. The teppanyaki food was excellent but the regular table service food was mushy and soggy. We spent no time at all in the regular pool area, instead hanging at the adult-only pool. It was generally quiet, as advertised. Overall a good vacation!
