The apartment in a magnificent Wilhelminian style building was extensively renovated and furnished as a holiday apartment. It is located on the ground floor of a quiet and absolutely central alleyway and is fully equipped.
In the kitchen area is a fridge-freezer, ceramic hob with extractor, sink, dishwasher, pots and a pan, cutlery, crockery, kettle, Senseo pad machines etc ..
The cozy living room has a large dresser, coffee table, a couch and a LCD TV.
The sleeping area in the gallery is located to the quiet courtyard.
In the bathroom is a spacious shower, sink, toilet. Towels and bed linen available. incl. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS.
The accommodation is new and tastefully decorated. Modern new old belly arms with plank floor, stucco elements and ceiling height about 3.8 meters, walls brightly painted with natural clay colors ........

Angenehm zu zweit in der kleinen Wohnung (kein Paar, sondern Freundinnen): eine Person hat auf dem Sofa genächtigt, eine auf dem Hochbett. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage sehr gut.

Der Vermieter war nett und zuvorkommend, die Kommunikation verlief einwandfrei. Jedoch ist die Wohnung in einem renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Es stinkt Extrem nach nassem Keller, was auch gleich in die Kleidung zieht, es war nur noch ein Fitzelchen Toilettenpapier vorhanden, Reserverolle Fehlanzeige, alles war irgendwie schmuddelig, Badezimmer, Küche, Spühlmaschine roch auch sehr unangenehm. Es scheint wohl üblich in Köln oder Großstädten allgemein solche "Ferienwohnungen" anzubieten. Ist nicht die erste Erfahrung hier. Ich finds schade ! Nie wieder hier.

Falsche Wohnung, nicht so ruhig, sonst top

Der Aufenthalt in Köln war super. Die Lage beider Wohnungen von Josef sind super. Leider war die kleinere, ruhigere Wohnung, die wir gebucht hatten, schon belegt, als wir ankamen. Die Mieterin meint, sie sei jedes Jahr da. Ob nun doppelt belegt oder ob die Mieterin nur die falsche Wohnung hatte, weiß ich nicht. Wir haben dann die wesentlich größere Wohnung bekommen, jedoch lag die leider direkt an der Straße. Insgesamt aber ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir konnten sogar noch eine Garage nutzen.

Cozy space for multi-week stay

We enjoyed our stay there. Was convenient to shops/restaurants and public transport. Clean and had everything we needed. Like other apartment locations, you can occasionally hear other residents opening/closing doors and talking, sometimes during the night, but we generally slept well - one of us on sofa and the other up in the loft. Internet was mostly reliable. Would stay there again..

Schöner Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung ist sauber es war alles vorhanden was man für einen kurzen Trip nach Köln braucht. Die Nachbarschaft sind einige schöne Kneipen. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist dann fragt beim Vermieter nach wo man am besten parken kann. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war top hat auf unsere Fragen immer schnell geantwortet. Wir haben die Zeit in Köln sehr genießen können.

Wochenende zur Fibo

Die Lage, der Check in/-out war top. Schade war nur, dass doch einiges in der Wohnung in die Jahre gekommen ist. Etwas frische Farbe und ein paar Kleinigkeiten würden einiges ausmachen um die erwähnte Gemütlichkeit in der Anzeige auch zu erreichen. Sicher ist der Preis wg. der Lage gerechtfertigt trotzdem habe ich aufgrund der Bilder etwas anderes erwartet auch wenn die Unterkunft nur zur Übernachtung diente. Köln ist auf jeden Fall mal eine Reise wert.

Geruchsbelastung

Leider mussten wir vorzeitig ausziehen, da die Geruchsbelastung im Raum und in den Textilien durch muffigen Geruch nicht mehr ertragbar war. Das Sofa roch ebenfalls und war mit vielen Flecken versehen. Sehr schade, da die Wohnung toll gelegen und schön geschnitten ist.

Great place to stay in Köln

This unit was perfect for my stay. It was clean, had all the amenities I needed, and was in a great, safe location. It was quiet since it was in the back of the building, but was within walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores, and shops. There’s basic cookware and dishware to make a meal if you wanted. It was the perfect place to relax, and to prepare for a long day in town. There's public transportation stops nearby that will get you wherever you need to go. Josef was very kind and a good host. Overall, it was a great experience. I’d love to stay there again someday.

Great location and price!

Pros: No stairs (main floor) which is great if you have luggage, very quiet, great location, clean, tv with cable, fast internet, and the price per night is fantastic. Improvements: Since there is no oven (just a stove) a microwave would be useful. The towels which are provided are rock hard, could use replacing. Also clearer instructions for checking in, or a lock box to grab the keys would help so not having to wait outside. Overall, for the price it’s a cute studio and you can’t beat the location and price.

Schöne Umgebung, überteuerter Preis

Die Wohnung liegt in einem schönen Altbau in der Südstadt Kölns in bester Lage und guter öffentlicher Anbindung. Der Gastgeber Josef wohnt im selben Haus, ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich um alle Belange und Wünsche des Gastes. Der Preis von 125 Euro pro Nacht ist dennoch eindeutig zu hoch: Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss, also eher dunkel und bei schlechtem Wetter ein wenig feucht, und besteht nur aus einem Raum (mit eingebauter, recht gut ausgestatteter Küche) und einer kleinen Schlafkammer auf der Empore, zu der man eine recht steile Leiter hinaufklimmen muss. Das ist alles andere als komfortabel, sondern sehr schlicht: außer der Matratze auf dem Boden und dem Licht ist die Empore gar nicht weiter möbliert. Kurzum: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mein Empfinden nicht, darum würde ich auch nicht wiederkommen.
