This is the perfect retreat for a quiet relaxing break away from the hype of downtown Macau and Hong Kong. Excellent service, lovely pool, perfect food, excellent beach and there's a park opposite where you can enjoy a blissful walk amongst native woodland. All in all - my favourite retreat.

Hidden gem in a bustling Macau.

Lovely boutique hotel, hidden away in nature and on the coastline. Quiet space, small and beautifully decorated. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Lovely restaurant on site, breakfast is good. Pool area is great for a day of relaxing.

Cute little hotel, walking distance to the beach. Reception staff were nice. The room we got was huge! We had a double sized bed w two twins, and still had plenty of space left in the room. Away from the hustle and bustle of the casinos but just a short ride on taxi to downtown Coloane for some Lord Stow’s Portuguese egg tarts. It was a relaxing stay.

The property is beautifully located, next to the beach. The American breakfast is excellent. The only negative for a first time visitor is figuring out how to navigate entry to the reception which is in the middle of a hill, with either a sharp slope or many steps when dropped off by the taxi on the side of the road. Suggest the hotel explains this in its welcome email to a first time guest.

I was checking in so late, after a concert. The front desk is so helpful, providing all the infomation i need, the process is just in 10 minutes, save us a lot of time. The view is superb, even the morning is a big rainy day, the view to the beach is so good.

An oasis of calm in bustling Macau

We very much enjoyed our stay at Pousada de Coloane. The room and restaurant offered stunning ocean views, and a pristine beach was just a two-minute walk away—a peaceful retreat from the bustling crowds of Macau. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Remarkably, the beach was free of mosquitoes and midges. A slight disturbance was the noise from nearby construction, with sawing sounds starting at 9 am and ceasing around 6 pm, which we hope is only temporary. We plan to return but will first confirm that the construction noise has ceased. While our experience was mostly positive, we suggest a few improvements: cooking the bacon longer for breakfast to achieve crispiness, offering unsweetened yogurt with separate jam to control sweetness, and replacing the fluorescent lightbulbs in the rooms with warmer, more natural lighting. I don’t know if anything can be done but, we always had to be careful about water leaking from the edge of the tub when we showered.

Cute/clean room, great change of scenery from ‘downtown’ areas, good breakfast. Appreciated water refill instead of bottles. Nice staff. Easy access with bus. Location is not close to tourist landmarks, but that was part of the draw and park entrance to Coloane Trail is across the street.

There was a feeling of cleanliness, but I was concerned about the deterioration of the room. The jacuzzi in the bathtub did not work and there was some rust. Although the staff was very responsive, it was a shame that there was no facility management.

整體經驗不錯。 最欣賞有一個小露台，可以看到海景。 全屋打掃得好乾淨整齊，可惜一入屋準備開電視見到電視機附近有一隻小曱甴，自己把牠消除。 床鋪舒服，乾淨，枕頭也舒適。 知道佢係1977年興建，好典雅嘅建築。 職員有禮，熱心招待。
