This hotel was in serious need of some care…walls were dingy. Stair carpets were seriously warn. My single room was suffocatingly hot with no access to open windows. Bed spread etc fusty. I can see that with today’s prices you might have to pay more than the stay was worth but for over £100 for a single room as described the room was £30 over priced in my opinion.

Pros: great location, large spacious rooms newly renovated and staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: very noisy location with many bars in the area playing music loud in to til 3am on Fri and the weekends. Breakfast was good, continental but was always late setting up. Stayed 9 days but had to pay 20 pounds per hour just for 2hr late check out I thought that was very lousey.
