"Firstly the location was fantastic - although as Colmar is so small you can’t really go wrong. It was walkable to cafes, restaurants and all the gorgeous attractions Colmar has on offer. We stayed in the ‘Superior Studio, Annex Building’ which is next door to the main hotel. It was a little basic. The room was large and airy with a good amount of storage in the bathroom, a nice view out to the river and bottled water supplied daily. The only negatives were the air con at night- which hardly worked so it was quite hot and there are a number of stairs to the apartment - no lift - if you have heavy suitcases this could be a problem. However, I’m sure the staff would assist if needed. The bar on the property is perfect for a nightcap, and Julie made the most amazing cocktails and is just lovely. The restaurant serves amazing food BUT very expensive! All of the staff at the hotel went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable, they were very friendly and super helpful and although our Australian French was woeful they always managed to help us out. It’s a bit far to walk to the train however it’s only a 12 euros uber ride and they are readily available. We would definitely stay here again. "
