Welcome to "The Little Ass Apartment" which sits on 28 acres with 3 mini donkey hosts. This apartment has everything you will need to relax indoor or out. There is a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, washer/dryer, and spacious bedroom. Outside has a large fenced in yard, fire pit with seating, and a wrap around porch with views of the sunrise and sunset! Enjoy the backyard entertainment area with washers and corn hole!

Best place ever!

The apartment was amazing and just as beautiful as the listing pictures! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the bottle of wine waiting for us with a happy anniversary card! We hated to leave.

This was our second time at this property and we were just as pleased as we were the first time. Host quickly answered our questions and were super attentive to our needs. The family really appreciated the games and outdoor fire pit to make s'mores.

Mom and Daughters Weekend

I booked a weekend for my daughters and I. My youngest is getting married so it was the perfect place to spend quality time together at night after doing wedding errands and planning during the day. The place is just darling! So clean and comfortable and the views with the donkeys were beautiful. We will be back because we enjoyed it so very much!

Wonderful Stay!

The Little A$$ Apartment is one of the best VRBO homes we have ever rented. Location is a bit out of the way but perfect for our stay in Collinsville for a family wedding. The thought that the hosts put into ensuring that you feel at ho E with everything you need is exemplary. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the porch and little donkeys who are so friendly and fun to watch! We highly recommend and will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank

Our “mini”moon

My now husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding and night after. Michael was super easy to communicate with and helped us with some requests that we had. The three donkeys are all so sweet and love attention. We enjoyed visiting them several times a day and watching them from the apartment. The apartment was super clean and had everything that we needed. We are definitely going to come back here, highly recommend this place!

Perfect getaway for a mini-honeymoon

My Wife and I stayed here after our wedding in Valley View. It was super easy to get to and the owner left us a letter congratulating us on our marriage. We were able to spend a few days to unwind and relax. The donkey's and horse are super sweet and came up to say hello on more than one occasion. The owner was super easy to communicate with when I had questions prior to check-in, and they include a book with some great suggestions on local or things to do. All in all, we can't wait to go back!

The Most Adorable Apartment

Let me tell you about this quaint most precious apartment! The entire place was spotless and had all of the amenities anyone could desire. The building had high ceilings and quality construction. Everything was labeled nicely so if you're one for organization, you'll feel right at home. I was happy to see there were embroidered washcloths just for makeup since I inadvertently forgot my own at home. There was even a little jewelry caddy. We didn't get outdoors much due to the bitter cold but there were nice swings and a fire pit. The stars of this place are the "Little A$$es". The 3 donkeys were our welcoming committee and greeted us upon our arrival. It was dark out but they came over to say hello. We were later excited to see they had names and could quickly tell who was who because one did not like his ears rubbed! Communication with the property owner was excellent and they were more than accommodating when inclement weather hit the area. We have many trips back to Collinsville in our future and this will remain our first choice. (Thanks to VRBO for censoring the word a$$ in my initial review.)

Absolutely stunning getaway! This place has everything you need to enjoy a gorgeous night under the sky! The campfire while in this wonder cold weather was top tier! Perfect place for our family

We were in town for a wedding and was so happy to find this perfect place for us to stay! It was just a short 15 minutes from the wedding venue, so it was very convenient. The property was nice, and the donkeys are an added bonus that we enjoyed meeting! Thank you for opening your place to us!

Michael was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The property was beautiful and so was the apartment. They did an excellent job with designing with comfort in mind. Great Modern Stay

A newly built apartment perfect for a relaxing stay. My wife was supposed to come, but was unable to at the last minute. I sent her pictures, and she was sad to have missed out. I had a great time interacting with the horse "Kobe" across the fence. The apartment is on the owner's land, but their house if fairly far away, so it was definitely private. The owners put a lot of thought into the stay with flowers, water and complimentary beer awaiting. Thank you, very pleased.

Peace and quiet in the country

We booked this home as a way to get out of the city and bring our dog. Michael was very responsive via text, and while this rental is on the same home as the property, we felt we had plenty of privacy. The donkeys are a hoot, and the horse is very affectionate. The grounds are large and great for morning walks. We enjoyed a quick day trip to Lake Ray Roberts for some hiking and a picnic on the beach. Otherwise we enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen, catching up on reading, and watching some movies on the two flatscreen TVs. There’s a fenced in grassy yard around the apartment perfect for our dog. She loved meeting all the animals, safely from behind the fence. Two things travelers should note are the mattress was soft instead of firm, in case that’s important to you, and the internet was spotty so you might want a cell card for your laptop if you plan to work. The hosts provided coffee, water, and beer. Lots of cozy blankets around the apartment. There was also a good looking fire pit outside, but we didn’t use it. We highly recommend this if you need a quiet getaway :)
