This was a fabulous stay for us. The apartment was so cute and cozy. The beds were comfy. It's an old building and a little creaky at night, but the owners thoughtfully provided ear plugs and white noise machines. We would definitely stay here again.
Definitely enjoyed our stay! Great loft apartment with so much character. Loved that there were so many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Hope to stay again when back in the area.
Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property manager was great at checking in, and readily available. The location can't be beat, with so many attractions and wonderful restaurants within walking distance.
This little flat is so nostalgic! It is a walk through history. It is in the heart of Old Town Bryan walking distance to multiple restaurants and a fun nightlife.
The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner worked wonderfully. I would definitely recommend staying here for the unique experience of history
The check in was easy. The host was amazing! I would have stayed more days of I would've had the time.
I always stay in places that don't look like everywhere else and this place was that. Its amazing!
This property is cute and well designed for the space. Great use of the old and the new. Very comfortable and surprisingly spacious for the footage, but the renter should be aware that if they have limited mobility or balance or are super sensitive to sounds (such as trains) this may not be the property for them. In the bedrooms those sounds were minimal and the host has provided options to reduce sound. Great rent for the location and price.
The property was very clean. Communication was exceptional. Very cool property in a neat part of Bryan. Convenient drive to A&M. Street parking could be a challenge if it was really busy. We were very lucky and found a spot very close to the stairs. It’s above a bar/restaurant and we were a little concerned that there would be noise but it was very tame and we didn’t hear a thing. In all it was an exceptional property and we will definitely look to stay here again…or in any of their other properties.
Everything was great except it did get a little hot at night despite setting temperature lower. It was very hot outside and the suite has very high ceilings. Other than that, I highly recommend this property.
This is the coolest property that I have stayed at. It’s on top of an old business in downtown Bryan with original shiplap walls, transom windows, industrial ducts, original hardwood floors, big tall windows, an added Kitchen that is well-placed & well-stocked, nice bathroom. The decor & art are also really cool.
If you are sensitive to sound, this may not be the place for you. Downtown Bryan is a hip place with lots of bars & live music. It’s a fun place to be. Restaurants & clubs surround this loft.
Only complaint is that it’s so hard to find parking. Otherwise I would tell you that you will love staying here.
We visited to bring our son for a college tour at College Station. The location was perfect, great little downtown area with lots of restaurants and shops to visit, very walkable. The hours of some businesses were a little different than expected, but lots to see and do. The rental was very clean, and beautifully decorated. It is a very old building but so nicely updated with a lot of charm. We had a slight issue with the AC when we first arrived but, the communication was easy and very quickly handled. The beds were very comfortable and there were some fun games to play to pass time in the evenings. We didn't see anyone else in the building while there, and it was fairly quiet. There is a train that goes by but, it did not bother us, and the music from the near by venue was not too loud either and was done by a reasonable hour. Very easy to get to the campus. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend and hopefully get to stay here again.
Overall the unit was as described with no surprises. Be prepared to climb two flights of outside stairs to get to the unit. Instructions for entry to unit are very detailed. Being a Saturday night stay we anticipated loud band noise from the downtown venues. There is a venue next door to this unit. The music ended at a reasonable time (11pm). Train noise from a nearby train track should be expected but ear plugs and white noise machines are provided. Our main complaint was continuous barking from other guests’ dogs. Our unit was a no pet unit. Other units are pet friendly. We have no problems with dogs but do have an issue with barking dogs. Beds were very comfortable. There are 2-3 nailheads in the wooden floor of the back bedroom that are sticking up. The clawfoot tub/shower was a little precarious for older persons. There was a step to get into the tub but maybe a handbar on the step would be helpful for safety. The shower head continuously dripped. Don’t let water from the shower accidentally run onto the floor because it will drain down to the ceiling of the restaurant below. There is a warning sign about this posted in the bathroom. There were plenty of towels etc.
The kitchen supplies were adequate. More flatware would be nice. The microwave seemed a little worn but seemed to work ok. Close by available parking was very hard find on a Saturday night. On the plus side the location was great especially for easy walks to eating establishments. AC/hot water were great.
The rooms were exactly as pictured. Check in and access were very easy. The location in downtown Bryan was great and allowed us to wander around town and check out the evening entertainment locations. We plan to use this location again next time we’re attending a class in College Station.
Fantastic location and amenities were great! The travel shampoos/conditioners were a nice treat! We did not cook but all necessary items seem to be present. Great hot water & water pressure. A little bit of music from the bar across the street but not a big deal. Already recommended to a friend!
