"Property is exactly as described. We had a great week fishing and crabbing on the dock and even on the 2 days it rained, the house was so comfortable for chilling and watching movies. This house was well stocked with everything you would need. We forgot our Old Bay for the crabs but there was some already for us! Kelly and Thomas responded quickly to a couple of questions we had and made check in and out simple. My only suggestion would be to put window treatments on the windows in the bedrooms. Privacy isn’t the issue it’s more about waking up early from the morning light. I like to sleep later on vacation! It would also be nice if all the bedrooms had a TV but not a big deal as many people don’t have one at home, just something to note. Aside from those minute things, it was a perfect relaxing vacation and if in the area again, I would certainly stay here."

"LOVED this cabin. Well equipped kitchen, bath, beds, etc. Great location for local activities. Hit the vineyards, Colonial Beach, oyster festival and Westmoreland State Park. Was awesome sitting on deck listening to forest rustling. Our big concern was AC but it worked just fine. Perfect get away locale"

"Great porch on second floor and the highlight of the property. Pier and dock were very nice. Beach was very unique feature for the Rappahannock River. A tidal marsh next door was a very quiet neighbor. Very quiet and safe area. We are planning to return in 2027 for a loner stay."

"The house was very easy to find and in a beautiful location on the water. Very spacious and lots of room inside and out. House is a little dated but overall clean. Kitchen had everything we needed except an icemaker. Main TV in living area is older and challenging to use with streaming apps. Communication with the host was delayed with responses. Overall a nice stay with our family!"

"We loved the house. Everything was beautiful, but the highlight was definitely the pool and how close the beach is. We had a wonderful time, especially the kids, who enjoyed every moment. We will definitely be back.The only issue is that the beds were a bit firm, and it would have been nice to have at least a couple more pots in the kitchen. Other than that, everything was great. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing shampoo."
