We had a most relaxing stay at this charming property. It is set amongst large trees and green pastures (including my beloved oak trees) and the views and birdsong are magical. The gorgeous country kitchen is extremely well stocked and all the amenities are "top notch". We had two great night's sleep in the huge bedroom and wished we had booked more nights. Additionally the hosts are friendly and all communication was timely and informative.

We had a wonderful time at the Coldstream property. Lovely and warm with two fires and heaters - very cosy!! A lovely box of goodies greeted us!! A very relaxing stay.

We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. The place is huge and comfortable and we lit an open fire which was lovely. The accommodation is isolated from the main farm and is therefore wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The main bedroom is enormous and the king size bed very comfortable. The kitchen is v well stocked with a large larder. Would loved to have stayed another night but they were booked. Would 100% recommend.

Escape the usual, experience a country break

A delightful stay in a beautiful country location. A very special place to escape the usual city hustle. If you enjoy getting off the beaten track and exploring a little bit of history you will love the Coldstream rural experience

So quiet and peaceful. The rooms are very spacious. Lovely views across the farm and it was beautiful sitting on bean bags out on the lawn with a drink. Great magazines plus a huge selection of books for reading and we were provided with an amazing gift basket of goodies. We have stayed at a lot of places over the years, none of them beat Coldstream Estate.

Perfect Farm Stay in a traditional property

Amazing farm stay in a beautiful traditional property which had been lovingly restored and retained so many lovely features. We loved the open fire and wood burning stove which added to the experience. The location was perfect for our journey from Queenstown to Christchurch. The welcome basket full of local products for breakfast/snacks was a lovely surprise and a great touch - we particularly enjoyed the homemade cookies! Thank you for a lovely memorable stay. We would certainly return and recommend this stay!
