"You definitely do not want to do a garden view room as you're just looking at a tennis court and a basketball court that have been somewhat abandoned.
There are a few amenities in the room, no refrigerator, hair dryer or coffee maker. For hotels at this price, those are some of the things I believe should be included."
"Fantastic place!! Beautiful views, excellent facilities, super-friendly staff, and loved the pool.
Only regret is that we could not stay longer. But already planning to return next year. "
"Incredible location right on Playa Estero with a great pool, but the management needs to get it together. We arrived to a dirty room (used towels and trash left behind), including someone's bra. Staff was consistently unwelcoming. We had major issues with booking an extra night online because no one was available in person, and then they tried to charge us twice upon check-out. And wanted us to change rooms. The included breakfast takes forever and isn't worth the wait. It’s a shame because the property itself has potential, but the consistent vibes from service made it a stressful stay."
"The location of the lodge is really beautifull and the staff is really friendly and helpfull, always tryong to make the extra effort for the guests.
You get for what you paid for. It´s not a luxury hotel but a very nice and special lodge in what until very recently was the jungle."
"Stayed at Villa Coco in Santa Catalina with a group of five of us in a suite and had an incredible experience. The property itself is beautiful — the grounds are peaceful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything feels really well cared for. The staff were outstanding from start to finish: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, and being able to borrow bikes to explore the area was such a great touch.
The location is also ideal — nicely tucked away so it feels calm and private, yet still perfectly situated between both ends of town so everything is easy to get to.
Overall, this place is amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Santa Catalina."
"The room was amazing and so thoughtfully decorated. The pool area was so relaxing. Great area and short walk to town. Also very close beach access. Clara was very helpful with recommendations in the area. 10/10 will be back. "
"I first wanna say there was a nice welcome gift, a bottle of champagne and two chill bottles of water and the bed was comfortable.
No towel, only a bathmat, no Wi-Fi, although it was advertised, AAA batteries, and only one remote device, so I had to keep switching them until I went and bought another set and brought them home with me. Bugs crawling all over the floor. No soap in the bathroom. And it wasn’t until this morning when I moved the welcome note and found the business card with the contact for the owner. I tried to send a message through orbit, but I never received a response. It has great potential, but needs a lot of work. "
