Peace and Quiet outside Cody

This property was spotless and exactly as advertised. Large enough to be comfortable we could have enjoyed several days here, but our schedule only allowed a one night stay. Just a couple minutes drive from downtown but away from all the typical tourist junk. Great views!

I booked this trip to Cody for the weekend - just to get away from where I live in a different part of the state, and to see the museums the following day. The drive was over 4 hours. When I arrived, there was a man in a pickup truck who said there was a misunderstanding and that he thought I was coming the next day. I showed him my Expedia app with the dates and all. I went inside and nothing was cleaned. Looks like the sheets were in the washing machine as machine was running. Guy offered to pay for my dinner and come back in an hour?! I already had eaten. Guy paid me $200 cash on the spot (which didn’t fully cover the cost of the cottage and the gas costs of driving there and back). This experience totally ruined my vibe, so I just wound up driving the 4 hours back home, arriving after midnight. STRONGLY RECOMMEND OTHERS TO AVOID THIS LISTING.

Great place with a country feel

Beautiful scenery with deer in the yard almost every night! Less than 3 miles away from town. If you are looking for a quiet, restful place, this is it!
