  • Welcome to AO Ranch, a beautifully crafted, pet friendly mountain retreat set on 88 private acres. Built in 2021, this vacation home blends cabin character with modern comfort and unobstructed mountain views. Located about 35 minutes from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, AO Ranch is the perfect basecamp for Yellowstone adventures, wildlife viewing, and exploring the Cody area. The home's striking exterior features natural rockwork, log beam accents, and a spacious patio designed to take full advantage of the surrounding landscape and wide-open Wyoming skies.
    Inside, the home welcomes you with a bright open floor plan designed for gathering and relaxing. The dining area comfortably seats six, while the spacious kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and additional seating for three at the island. Large windows frame spectacular views of the mountains and lake, bringing the outdoors into the heart of the home. The living room is arranged to highlight those views while offering a cozy place to unwind beside the fireplace and a sleeper sofa for additional guests. The authentic lodge-style atmosphere blends seamlessly with modern amenities for a comfortable, unforgettable stay.
    The primary suite features a king bed and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub with mountain views, and a beautiful tile walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms each offer queen beds and share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub and shower combination, making the layout ideal for families or small groups traveling together. A half bath is conveniently located off the hallway. Guests also have access to the attached garage with space for one vehicle. With comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to eight guests and a peaceful setting, AO Ranch offers the perfect blend of privacy, scenery, and convenience for your Yellowstone and Wyoming vacation.

    *Guests are able to hike/roam and explore the acreage, ATVs are not allowed at the property.
    *AWD or 4-wheel drive necessary in the winter.
    *Please note: cats are not permitted at this property.

    Winter Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! Please note that Yellowstone s East Entrance and most park roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic from November 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026. During winter (December 15 mid-March, weather permitting), access is available only by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.

    Monthly Rental Information: For stays longer than 30 days, a completed and signed rental agreement is required prior to occupancy. The agreement must be signed by the primary renter responsible for the reservation. For stays longer than 30 nights, a security deposit may be applied by Cody Lodging Company.
