The room is spacious and comfortable with a number of amenities that you wouldn't normally get at the price. I enjoy the cats in the yard, the friendly owners, and convenience of being close to a number of shops and restaurants I like to visit. At the price, it can't really be beat to get away for a while when out and about.

JUST ANOTHER CHEAP GUEST HAVING DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR THINKING THAT HE PAID 40 FOR THE RITZ & BEACH FRONT STAY. OUR ROOMS & BATHROOM ARE CLEAN. IT IS AN OLDER HOME & THE BATHROOM IS DATED. BUT IT IS A GREAT DEAL FOR 40 PER NIGHT & THAT WORKS OUT GREAT FOR GUESTS THAT ARE NOT DELUSIONAL. OH NO, A BUG IN FLORIDA ?!

The hosts Mark and John were very prompt in communication and very hospitable. This is a home being shared by 3 men with extra sleeping spaces for paid guests. The problem is that you must enter through the front door and walk through someone else’s sleeping area to get to your bedroom. The bed felt like an old worn out mattress that sunk in, although I would have slept fine on it. The “lanai” advertised in the listing is a narrow path around a large emptied pool. The room and house itself while not chic and modern, I felt it to be clean. The shared bathroom had personal items in the shower as expected for someone’s home but the sink had been painted hot pink and the paint was peeling up which was wierd. The room was in the back of the house and closed by two French doors which had a padlock on their side of the doors which was uncomfortable for me as a guest, signs in the hallway about being on camera made me uncomfortable to go to the bathroom at night and be on camera. All of those things together that were not described in the listing caused me to cancel my stay and leave immediately. Had those things been disclosed in the listing, it would be on me that I chose to book a place knowing this, but it was not and did not feel like adequate privacy and safety for me and my daughter.

SHE WAS JUST ANOTHER HOMELESS GUEST WHO FAILED TO GET A REFUND SO SHE IS BADMOUTHING FOR NO REASON. SHE IS A LOCAL WITH NO REASON TO BOOK HERE AT ALL. SHE WAS PLANNING TO SNEAK HER KID INTO THE PROPERTYCAMERAS IN THE HALLWAY OR EVEN NEAR THE BATHROOM. No GUEST IS SLEEPING IN THE LIVING ROOM. 2 OF OUR ROOMMATES ARE GAY & TRUST ME, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS HERE WITH MEN AS YOU ARE "NO DAY AT THE BEACH". MOST MEN LIKE THE PRETTY GIRLS. SO YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY.

Another Cheap Guest Having Delusions of Grandeur Thinking It Was Oceanfront Property that they Paid a Big 40 for. It's a Great Value For Your Buck. Also, the House is in Good Condition. Just because it is an Older Florida Home, Doesn't Mean that it is Not Good. You Got What You Paid For, An Older Property. We Have Our Handyman Here Nearly Every Weekend to Help Us Out With Renovation Projects. By the Way, My House is PAID OFF. So Don't Complain. If you Needed Another Comforter, You Could Have Just Asked Us For One As We Do Accommodate Our Guests Well..

I was stung by bedbugs a couple nights ago. It was truly horrible. I got little sleep and the host thought I was lying. These bed bugs were stinging me mercilessly on the back of my neck and then on my right hand at 1:30 AM as I tried to protect myself. At the time, I thought I was being attacked by mosquitoes. I tried to sleep through it. I covered my head, but their sheets stunk They were filthy, and the pillow covers looked like they were never cleaned. I went out to my car to get my own sheet, returned to bed and covered my head and neck. But, something was still stinging me. It couldn’t be mosquitoes, I thought. So, at 2:30, I got back up, turned on the light and trapped one of the bugs, photographed it, put it in a plastic bag normally saved for my Dominican pesos and put it into the freezer. I returned to be and continued to be stung on my left hand and my knee. I got up again to try to trap some more bed bugs, but they hid themselves before I could see them. I was very tired and slow. The next morning, I presented my bag to the host. He claimed I had brought it with me because I had my own bag. (As if plastic bags are a rare thing.) I showed him photos of the back of my neck and of my elbow I took during the night. But, he didn’t believe me. And, he thought I brought the bedbug I showed from the outside! As he explained why he didn’t believe me, I scratched my left index finger. It hurt so badly. I realized my host was no longer my friend, I felt sad.

HOSTS BEWARE: WE FOUND NO BUGS IN THE BED OR IN THE ROOM !! HOMELESS GUEST REPORTED TO EXPEDIA AS A SCAMMER/CON-ARTIST AS APPARENTLY THIS IS HOW HE SCAMS HOTELS FOR FREE NIGHT STAYS GETTING HIS CASH BACK BY REPORTING BUGS THAT DO NOT EXIST. HE KEEPS A BUG IN A ZIP LOCK BAG IN THE ROOM FREEZER & THEN DEMANDS HIS MONEY BACK. THIS GUY IS A FRAUD !!

John was a great advocate for the hearing impaired and even made it to where he understood my hearing impairment. Being deaf is a disadvantage to those who don’t understand but he never made me more comfortable than any other advocate for autistic and deaf adults. Thank you

Cheap but not worth it
I chose this location due to its closeness to the Kennedy Space Centre. Overall I did not enjoy my stay. The main point the owners make is how it is cheap and so you get what you pay for, however, I have stayed in cheap housing with far nicer conditions. I stayed two nights. My biggest issue was the air conditioner. The air filter was absolutely disgusting. I turned it off for my stay because it felt as if it was actively making the air quality worse. I considered sleeping with a mask on due to the smell. The room was pretty fine if not a bit dusty. The bed was comfortable and I was provided with a clean towel. The bathroom was acceptable if not worn down. The mini fridge was gross but bottled water was provided. I did not eat the complementary breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The hosts were accommodating. However on my second morning I woke up to him (John) having a very loud argument with another guest and swearing. I personally never had a confrontation like this with him or Mark, as they were both polite to me .He often walked around in his underwear which made me uncomfortable. Even though the price was cheap, in comparison to other cheap accommodations to a similar price range, I was disappointed. I would not go back due to the cleanliness of the room and the hosts behavior.

Advertising a swimming pool initially only to find that the pool was empty and not even used..... It's made to feel uncomfortable because one of the workers was making an inappropriate advance felt like I was being watched the entire time

The owner of the place Mark was super nice. I just stayed one night and did some sight seeing and went out to the Out back for dinner. The place was clean and friendly. I was coming back from a cruise from Miami and I live in Georgia . It was nice to break the trip in half .

Find the rainbow
Host and other residents were friendly and helpful. If you look past the mismatched and outdated décor, it was a pleasant stay. We had all the amenities listed and the WIFI was better than many hotels. It was suburbia 2 blocks from commerce, so close to every place we wanted to go. I'd do it again.

Really, Tanesha & her boyfriend checked into the room & stayed for over an hour resting & eating, drinking, & mentioned nothing of any problems. They even requested a cocktail from us. They failed to communicate any arrival time or any issues at all. I think they just changed their plans & maybe disgruntled that they wouldn't be refunded.

Nightmare at Rainbow Room
I stayed the first night of the 4 day booking of the Rainbow RoomI slept at the I-95 rest stop for the duration of my 4 day trip because I felt safer and my car seat was More comfortable than the Rainbow Room accommodations. The Rainbow Room is the worst vacation experience of my life.

You Have to Take Reviews With a "Grain of Salt" As Guests Book & Then Change Their Plans Last Minute & DO NOT Receive a Refund. So They Leave a Bad Review. On Purpose. Tina Came In With An Attitude & Left With One. No one else is complaining about that room but her. By the way, she is homeless & not on vacation.

The house was hot and cluttered. There was someone staying in the entry way (common area), the pool had no water. There is one small bathroom that is shared between all the guests and the residents. The room was outdated, it had broken cabinets and the bedding was well used. We were even asked what time we’d be coming back so they could keep the AC off until then. The description was very misleading .

Guest decided to stay with a friend & was disgruntled when she was not offered a refund. This is our job. So we can't just give refunds if a guest changes their plans last minute. Our pool is being refurbished.

Easy going stay & Requires some new sheets.
Finding this place last minute was great. I was able to check late at night. The host of this wonderful Bed & Breakfast was generous enough to greet me at night. Parking arrangements worked out well. There were these cute cats that greeted me. I liked the fact there was cats. Because I have cats & missed having them around. There were some good selections for the breakfast part of this. The only thing off or bad was the fitted sheets didn’t fit on the bed well. It kept coming off. It was frustrating to keep changing it in the middle of my sleep. There was strange stuff (slight clutter) underneath the bed, which was a bit messy. Please I hope the host here gets new set of sheets that are very snug & fits comfortably well. I liked the attitude & demeanor of the host. He was upbeat, talkative, kind, caring, and friendly. I’ll definitely consider coming back & staying here again. Thanks for a nice sweet time.

Before you book please read The host are very nice people However this Is a garage converted to a room Air condition is extremely small for the space It gets really hot Totally out dated furniture and bedding looks like it came from thrift store Access to the room (garage) is from the kitchen That’s not classic look it’s a dump They demand prepaid no wonder why Hotels down the street with the same price and much nicer

Beware, this jerk is just disgruntled as he changed his plans last minute so he did not receive a refund. The A/C unit is fine. Furniture is not outdated. Expedia payments are always prepaid. We are a great big bang for your buck here. This room is nice & very popular with guests as it is large with a private entrance to the room. We are close to all of the attractions including the beach. Motels are double the price. So you get a great value here. Yes, this room is next to the kitchen with snacks, drinks, as well as our breakfast.

Stephen paid nearly nothing to stay here as we do offer a great bang for your buck. Most everyone enjoys staying in this room as it is large, comfy, has a big fridge for storage. The roof did not leak while Stephen was here.The roof does not leak now. We fixed it. This is an enclosed garage with a flat roof. So there is a noticeable area where the ceiling has rough spots. There are NO exposed wires in this room. There is just an extension cord to plug up certain appliances. We are close to all of the attractions here. Stephen left the room a mess with crumbs all over the floor. Why did he stay here if he didn't like the room? Stephen did not get a refund here for the nights he stayed at his job & he is just disgruntled.

Bad Experience. Guest left the room a mess for us with crumbs all over the floor. He had a beer for breakfast. So how would he remember anything about his stay here. We have a nice, clean & quaint guest house here & we are close to the beach & all of the attractions. We stay booked. So this guy was just having delusions of grandeur thinking that he was staying at the Ritz for his $40. Maybe just one too many beers.

Cozy Little Place
The place was fairly nice and easy to find for what it was and the host was friendly, laid back, courteous, and attentive. If staying in that part of town and you need quietness and peace of mind while in the area; it's a good little spot.

Yeah Right, the name says it all crazy lady. The name of our property is RAINBOW ROOMING HOUSE. It is clearly an AIRBNB set up. Maybe you need to learn to read. This kind of AIRBNB is ALL THE RAGE now as it is a huge bang for your buck. Patricia is just having "delusions of grandeur thinking that she booked a motel for $40 per night. Nuts !! :/

Another Cheap Guest Having Delusions of Grandeur With Broken English Spoken Expecting the Ritz For Their 40 A Night Stay Here. Should Have Mentioned Our FREE Coffee, Free Burrito Breakfast (Marriot Doesn't Do It), Great Hospitality, Rocket Launch Experience (From Our Front Yard), ROKU Tv in the Guest Room. The Nice Lady Spent Most of Her Time Yelling at Her Husband As He Couldn't Drive A Car Very Well & Acted Senile.
