"On the plus side it was clean and the cooked breakfast was good . On the negative side, not much choice for fruits yoghurts cereals and pastries for breakfast, whole place was a bit out dated, our bedroom had wallpaper peeling off, a posted bed which obscured the tv and our toilet didnt flush but there was no staff available in the evening or morning to let them know!"

"Signs of deterioration on inside of exterior walls in room. I guess to be expected with the age. A bit offputting. All staff courteous and helpful, bar staffed as and when tbh. Isolated. A 2 mile rustic, pleasant, mainly downhill stroll to Bowness town centre. Taxi back haha. Overall a nice stay "

"Lovely polite friendly staff. spotless spacious room with a pretty view & lovely little touches throughout the hotel. Free onsite parking, Spa was a real treat - open til 8pm which is fab after a day of exploring. Only negative was the coffee at breakfast was very weak but coffee machine was better! "
