Dream beach re-set
This was the perfect, out of the way but still so close, getaway location! The house was very well equipped with everything we could possibly want or need. Getting to it in the dark on the wrong side of the road with donkeys everywhere was an adventure but coming inside felt like home. Our routine was pretty chill for 10 days, We had morning coffee on the beach out front watching the waves and occasional donkey. After stocking up at the IGA we packed lunches and took our rental on an exploration of the island. Lots of hidden gems and wonderful people. Supper was either at the house or at Jack’s Shack, Sandbar or Cakeos Cafe. Movie and games while watching the sunset from the deck. Perfection. The whole purpose of our trip was to go whale watching with Deep Blue Charters with “our” humpback whales. It did not disappoint! Katharine & Kell know where to go and when. We also went out with Jimmy of Wet Money Enterprises snorkeling and swimming with the sting rays. The snorkelling from shore at every beach was a lot of fun too. I had to work during our vacation so stable fast internet was a must. Comfy beds, amble towels and a washer/dryer added to the experience of home away from home. Amazing house!
We loved our stay here. The house was amazing. We loved being at the top of island where it is quiet; however still never far from everything else. In a golf cart we could be at the cruise port in 20-25 minutes. We ate breakfast in each morning and cooked in a few nights and everything we needed was in the kitchen. It was wonderful having the grill also. We ended every evening with a few games of pool. We began and ended our vacation sitting out on the beach right outside the fence. We only saw one other person and a few mules and donkeys when we sat there. We brought our own but if we hadn’t there was lots of snorkeling equipment on the back patio. We were so pleased to find a beach umbrella there which we used everyday. Look no further and book this house. We loved our time here and on the island. Everyone was so, so friendly. I would also suggest trying The Fisherman’s Wife for dinner one evening and don’t miss visiting the Turks and Caicos Museum.

Private island retreat
Delightful house with lush greenery all around. We went snorkeling everyday in the backyard. The house is on the Northwest side of the island (a good distance from the cruise center) and we often felt like we had the island to ourselves. We enjoyed the pool table, and the satellite tv delivered. The locals were friendly and easygoing. Groceries and good restaurants were about a 10 minute ride by golf cart. Highly recommend renting a vehicle to get around. Our 10 yr old loved snorkeling off the shore with us (water shoes are a must) and we liked how the reef extended a ways so we could stand up in the water 50 or so feet from the beach. Perfect huge conch shells are everywhere, sea urchins, crabs, parrrot fish, stingrays, sea turtles, saw a nurse shark and whales in the distance. This beautiful house was everything we were looking for! We hope to return someday. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Great house - very private - couldn't be better
This was a great place to stay. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cooking ingredients and the extra fridge in the pool room was handy. Central air was very comfortable and nice as you don't have to listen to or mess around with room air conditioners. Very private property with no traffic. Beach facing side is somewhat overgrown. There is a really nice deck with table and 6 chairs that we spent much time at. However, the vegetation is so overgrown that you cannot see the water when sitting there - bushes are 8 -10 feet tall along fence. A little maintenance on that part of the yard would make for a fantastic view. I would gladly stay here again - other than the view from the deck this place is absolutely perfect! We were all 100% satisfied.

#6 Corktree Beach House was a perfect place to stay if you want peace/quiet almost private beach
This place was the perfect place to stay on the island. Away from the town and cruise ships, but a short 5-10 minute golf cart ride to almost anything on the island. The beach is almost private and most mornings we walked miles without seeing another person. The house was clean and well equipped with towels and kitchen supplies. We cooked most evening meals at the house and ate out for lunch. Kristien responded within 30 minutes with a new tube for one of the bikes that was bad. She also was a great reference for activities on the island. The house had four bikes, four types of paddle boards and four nice lounge chairs. The entire island was easy to get around and the locals were very nice. We would stay here again. Dean

Definitely Paradise
Lucy was amazing to work with, responded quickly, and was very helpful. We originally booked this property for June 2022. My husband had unexpected surgery a week prior to our stay. Lucy allowed us to rebook for November 2022 with absolutely no hassle! The house was perfect and the beach was wonderful. Very well equipped with plenty of towels, dishes, laundry detergent, and island information. I asked her where we could get good coffee on the island and she told us to go to the Ridge Cafe at the Aches. This is by far the best coffee I have ever had! Their food and ice cream are also absolutely delicious! We spent a lot of time sitting up there enjoying the view. They also have a swimming pool that is open to the public. Our rental car wouldn’t start the night before we were leaving. Took me over 2 hours to get a hold of the rental company. Lucy was very helpful and told me that she would get us to the airport if we were without a car. That certainly helped relieve my anxiety. Everyone we met on this island was so incredibly friendly and helpful! It was a wonderful relaxing place to stay!

Haven for a Quiet Escape
This is one of the most well-equipped VRBO's I have ever visited, but my kids especially loved the pool table. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch or on the beach at sunset, and my husband loved the huge TV and comfortable couches / chairs in the living room when we were not enjoying the various beaches on Grand Turk. I just wish the property had better lighting, especially in the living room. I had to get some work done while on vacation and it was a bit dark to see well in the evening.

Paradise!
Lucy and Nate’s home is amazing. Everything you could need or want. We walked three miles on the beach every day, and only saw people at the beach club a mile and a half away. Beat my son at pool and lifted weights using the dumbbells. The huge TV in the family room was great. The master bed room was like our sanctuary. We appreciated the flowering bushes in the yard, and the fact that it was fenced in. That kept the donkeys and dogs that are sometimes on the beach from being too friendly! The kitchen and appliances are top notch. We cooked most of our own meals at the house. Kristin, the property manager was great, too.

9 days on the beach
My husband and I along with our best man and his wife came to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The house was very nice, very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. We took a bike ride, used the stand up paddle boards, played lots of pool and was on the beach every day. The best beach combing right out from the house! Lucy was wonderful to communicate with and Becky, the house keeper/manager was very helpful. We rented a golf cart from Omar and that went very smoothly. We used OmniCare med to get our covid tests ($60 each) and they emailed results within 4 hours. There is an attestation form to get back into the USA, that form was at the airline counters in Providenciales. We were very pleased with our stay!

Solitude and stunning diving
First off, let me rave about the host. Lucy was a proactive communicator, very quick to respond, gave us great suggestions, and generally a pleasure to work with. One of my favorite hosts so far. The home is modern, clean, and stacked with a number of features that guests will enjoy. We liked the game room, fully-stocked kitchen, and satellite TV. The best part though, is the beach and water at your fingertips. Grand Turk's famous diving wall is right in front of the home. We paddle boarded out to the buoys and snorkeled around when we weren't diving. The fenced yard was also a plus! It ensured privacy but also helps when bringing your pup along. The location of the home is probably the only potential downside. It's located in the far northwest of the island away from any market, business, or restaurant. You will NEED a golf cart of car to get around. A few people suggested Omar Morris for golf carts. We found his service to be average. In the five weeks we rented from him, our cart broke down twice and we had to swap out for a different one each time. With the pandemic in full swing, only a few restaurants/bars are open on the island. We knew going into it what we were getting into and didn't mind it too much. We had one run in with an unfriendly neighbor but other than that, people on the island were friendly. A few food suggestions: -The food truck across from the Do It Center is a MUST. It was our most frequent meal. -Kitty's Pizza Place down the road from the truck in a pink building has delicious and ice cream cones (Ice cream on the island is very expensive)! -The Ridge at the Arches was definitely our favorite. We would run up for breakfast and cool down in their pool while we waited for our food. The family and chef that runs it are fantastic. Home is all made at the restaurant and very fresh. -The Osprey Hotel has a decently-priced lunch and GREAT view. -Sand Bar is typical sandwiches and drinks but worth a try. -Guanahani at Bohio is NOT worth it. Expensive and the food was terrible. Overall the house is a big win. The location is slightly inconvenient. The island is fantastic if you know what you're getting into--you really can't beat the diving. We're glad we made the jump and enjoyed the solace and 1:1 as a couple. Thanks, Lucy and Nate!!

Spring Break 2020
Family travel with teenager for spring break 2020. The house was clean and welcoming! It’s a little way out of town, so we felt a car was necessary and rented from Omar. Lucy is wonderful to work with, she answered all of our questions and very timely. I give everything 5 stars, except the beach in front of the house, it’s beautiful, but you really can’t get into the water due to the rocks and sea grass. Using the SUP seemed out of the question with the rocks and coral so we spent our beach days at Governors Beach by the airport (a short drive). The only other negative is the one working bike, we thought there was two, but by the time we made it down the road we had a flat tire again and had to turn back. No promises are made about the bikes working in the welcome booklet, but it would have been fun to explore on them. Again, not deal breakers and by far the positives outweighed any negatives, but just things to keep in mind. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals; it was nice to have everything we needed and more. We packed some food from the US, as there is only a basic selection of items at the two grocery stores we visited. Produce selection was slim to none and if available very pricey. The beds were extremely comfy and liens nice. With lots of the island shut down due to COVID-19, we would like to come back and experience all the island has to offer another time.

Beautiful house and location. Lucy responded to all our questions pretty much immediately. Private beach. Saw wild horses and donkeys right on the beach. We were there in the middle of the coronavirus scare. Was happy to see they banned all cruise ships from entering. Very safe island and locals are friendly. Be sure to check out Governors Beach. The day we were there we had it all to ourselves. Nice sandy beach and crystal clear water. Pool table was a definite bonus. Used it every single day. Would definitely recommend this place.

The house on Cork Tree Beach was perfect. More amenities than any other beachfront rental house we've ever stayed in. Best equipped kitchen even though we barely cooked. We wondered for a second whether the golf cart was the right vehicle for us as we puttered to our destinations around the island, but with the near perfect weather and our quickly getting into island time, the golf cart was the right choice. The Ridge Cafe was especially great. Friendly people everywhere around the island.

Temperture of home and shower water
Overall we loved the property! We had a wonderful time. The only two negative things was the temperature of the house at night and the temperature of the water for the main bathroom shower. The temperature of the house at night was uncomfortable to sleep. We had to run the ceiling fan and the floor ac fan to keep cool. Without these the room was uncomfortable to sleep. It was confusing to work the remote for the ceiling fan as well but managed to figure it out. We kept the air as is according to the owners request but would be nice to make a little cooler at night maybe. The shower in the master bathroom and the bathroom itself was designed very beautifully! However, the temperature of the shower hot/warm water would only last no more than five minutes and it started to turn cool. Men can usually shower in that amount of time but women are generally 10 minutes or more. I had to turn the water completely off to maintain the hot water and turn it back on to rinse off. Other than these two things we very much enjoyed the home! Especially the pool table! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in the home!

An amazing property in an amazing location! If you want peace and tranquility this place is for you
If your looking for a place to unwind and get away from everyone and everything this place is it! It is footsteps away from the ocean and you can see and here the waves. You can walk the beach until you get tired as the beach seems endless. You can rent a car or golf cart. We preferred a car with AC. His home has two kayaks and two paddle boards. We saw awesome sunsets every night! You can see the cruise 🚢 going by in the morning and leaving at night but never see the people who get off the ships unless you travel into town. Cannot say enough about this beautiful Property! Again if your looking to get away to a beautiful island with a beautiful home to stay in this is the place!!

Felt like home...on a BEACH 🏝💕
This property was gorgeous, inside and out! Super clean, updated, lots of seating, tons of extras like bikes, kayaks, snorkel gear, etc... We loved sitting in the lounge chairs after our baby went to bed and watching the moon dance on the water. We loved grilling fresh fish from the market on the awesome barbecue pit. I also liked being away from the main strip in the evenings...our house was so much more peaceful and quiet than my brothers house (more in town). The bed in the master was soooooo comfy! Some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while. I’ll always look to stay in this home when we return to Grand Turk.

House is really clean ;well organized and equipped. We had everything we needed. S-Mart was really useful. We shoped there for groceries. We went to buy fish from fishermen. Yes, market is still there behind Sunnys. It was a lot of fun and fish is delicious 😋. Last fisherman comes around 7 pm. Grand Turks diving was our place for all water activities: diving, snorkeling, stingrays. They very accommodating and personal. Loved them. We got a car from Omar! No problems! Had a wonderful time!!! Didnt want to leave!!!

Get away from it all in the perfect ocean front home. Very Private, amazing sunsets!
Lucy and Nathan's Grand Turk home is exactly as pictured and the best-equipped HomeAway home we have ever experienced ( and we have been to many). It is clear, as Lucy states in the description that this was not a purpose-built rental property. From a kitchen equipped with every possible kitchen gadget, to the new propane grill, stand up paddle boards and pool table, this house has it all. Every day we started with a good two mile walk on the totally deserted beach, steps away from the porch , enjoying the incredibly blue water and saying hello to the occasional donkey or horse wandering the beach along with us. We cooked most meals in the house with the exception of a some lunches at Bohio and Oasis. Make sure to catch Doo Doo's Rib Cage in town for excellent take-away ribs on Friday and Saturday. The island is quite small and very easy to explore, taking less than 30 minutes to drive from one end to the other. We spent a few hours at Margaritaville one afternoon, mingling with the cruise ship guests. That was fun. The best beach for swimming, by far, is Governor's Beach south of the airport and north of the Cruise terminal. Incredible and secluded! Enjoy!!

Everything you could ever want, all on the beach...
Lucy and Nathan have truly provided a house that has everything you could ever want for a wonderful beach vacation. Located on the quiet north end of Grand Turk, the house is just a few steps from the most beautiful turquoise waters, easily enjoyed via the available standup paddle boards and kayaks. We rented a golf cart from Omar, exploring the island from end to end, and loved coming home to grill on the BBQ most nights. Make sure to schedule a visit to Gibbs Cay to see the rays with Deep Blue, go whale watching with the Humpback Dive Shack, and if you've never tried it - SNUBA with OASIS, but also leave time to enjoy the beach in your own front yard. Communication with Lucy was quick and easy both before and during our stay. She went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. We have stayed in many VRBOs and this one really lives up to the both the listing and pictures. It quickly has become one of our absolute favorites. We made so many memories, all starting with this great place to stay - we can't help it, we are already planning our return! Thank you Lucy and Nathan for sharing your wonderful house.

Private oasis in paradise
If you want some privacy on the waterfront with amazing sunsets, look no further. This home provides a secluded oasis right on the water that is nearly unbeatable. The home is gorgeous, well appointed, & stocked w/all the essentials. Lucy provided great detail prior to the visit and plenty of information to get you thru your stay. Wanna rent a car, UTV, or golf cart: go with Omar. He was great (cash only though). Renters should know a few things. First the island’s still struggling to recover from some pretty devastating hurricanes. There was very little evidence of active recovery efforts though all the essential services are up and running (utilities, grocery stores, airport). The reef system has been decimated and I expect that it will need several years to come back. Nevertheless, there are still great places to snorkel and dive. Definitely check out Oasis divers! Sadly, immediately behind the property was no place for snorkeling. The seaweed was really bad, though the water was amazing! Perhaps that is a seasonal thing, but other beaches around the island (Governors Beach) offer ample opportunity. The home itself is in a relatively quiet neighborhood with only a few homes. We did have some loud neighbors (presumably other renters) that detracted from the serenity of the place. But for the most part, you can walk right out onto the beach and not see anyone except random donkeys all day. The home has an alarm which adds to the safety factor though there was never any concern. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. The island is a cruise port; so if you want to avoid the crowds, check the port schedule online. Prices for everything are high as expected, so plan accordingly. Cash or credit is readily accepted nearly everywhere. While bikes are provided, the road system is not great and I felt safer traveling around in a car. Lucy also provides snorkel equipment and kayaks which were great fun right out from the back of the home. The grill is a huge plus as we cooked most meals to save on expensive meals out. The home is completely comfortable with all you could possibly need. The main bed does sit low near the floor, so anyone with mobility difficulties might find it a bit challenging getting in and out. If you visit the lighthouse, consider the horseback riding adventure into the ocean - awesome! Shell collectors will be amazed at the availability of massive conchs everywhere. When I return to GT- DEFINITELY staying here!!!

What a Gem!!
Lucy and Nathan are wonderful and responsible owners. The weather couldn't have been better (75-80 degrees F., sunny and a light breeze for the 10 days) The property is very private and we took advantage of the solitude, usually sitting on the back porch and looking at the beautiful colors of the sea. It was one of the most restful and relaxing vacations we've ever had. Even though my husband and I are in good shape for our mid-60's, it was still a challenge getting in & out of the Low Profile Bed. The house was fantastic. It had everything that we could have even thought to want or need and then some. The pool table was fun to have and all of the board games. Paddle boarding right from the house was fun, even took some snorkels with us and snorkeled a little. Overall this house made our vacation so much better and I would absolutely go again.

Wonderful family vacation!
Our family of 5 had an amazing time in this house. The pictures do not lie....it is a gorgeous home and you really don't have to leave to have a great time. The paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pool table, beach, snorkel equipment and amazing sunset views were enjoyed by us all. We felt like it was our own private getaway. If you feel the need to head into town, it's a quick 5-10 minute drive. We rented a UTV from Omar Morris and had so much fun using it to get to know the island. We hope to be back in the very near future!

Away from it all but doesn't lack a thing!
My family of four (two college age kids and two parents) just spent a week in this lovely home! I wanted a home away from the crowds of people, yet close enough that we could access activities when we wanted to. This home was perfect!!! It was so well stocked with everything that we could ever need (paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, kitchen equipment, beach/bath towels, washer/dryer, bikes, the list is endless!) The beach is practically a private beach too! You literally open the backyard gate and are on a perfect sandy beach! We saw 8 people on the beach the whole week, and 4 were neighbors! Daily beach walks were quiet and peaceful as you say hi to the nearby local donkeys or horses or pick up a conch. Our taxi driver Jack took us around town whenever we needed a ride to an excursion/grocery store. A lot of the homes are still damaged from the hurricanes (as of May 2018) but this home was in tip top shape!! This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had! Thank you to Lucy for your help before the trip and for answering a couple of questions during our trip too!!

Beautiful spot to enjoy Grand Turk
Lucy's house is wonderful. It has everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable, and a great location. Highly recommend.

A tropical gem
This home was the perfect spot for a relaxed and fun family holiday over the Christmas break. The house is exactly as promised in the photos on the VRBO website. Comfortable furniture and plenty of beds for our family of five. It is literally steps away from the beach and you can watch the glorious sunsets from the back deck, the yard or the beach. We made regular use of the two sea kayaks and the snorkeling gear available at the house. Plus, everyone enjoyed playing pool together in the recreation room. It is only a few minutes drive to two grocery stores and there are plenty of local restaurants to try if you prefer not to cook. We enjoyed a half-day boat charter through Donovan at White Sands charters and exploring the island via dune buggy with Archie at Zoom Zoom tours if you are looking to add some adventure to your holiday. The owners of the home were a pleasure to deal with and provided lots of helpful information about the island of Grand Turk. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to decompress and spend time with your loved ones.

Beautiful home!!
This was the perfect home for our relaxing family vacation! The gorgeous beach is steps from the back porch and we enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking. The yard overlooks the ocean and is filled with lush flowering bushes and shady palm trees; our camp hammock fit perfectly between two of the taller trees and was a favorite hangout spot in the afternoon. The property is located in a quiet, private area and the beach was virtually our own. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is exceptionally equipped. It has 3 nice bathrooms, and the master ensuite is quite large with an open, walk in shower. The washer/dryer work very well so there's no need to pack too many clothes. Our teenage daughters enjoyed the pool room, which was an added bonus. The whole experience was wonderful! We would definitely return to this comfortable, beautiful home!
