Staff are very attentive and helpful but not in your face, they provide wine and sparkling in the library at no cost. Great location and the building is superbly renovated but has not lost its charm. Plan to visit again

This hotel surpassed our expectations in every category. The room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about local restaurants and sights. Genuinely one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We’re already planning a return to Santiago next year, and will stay a the Castillo Rojo again. Wine in the courtyard every evening was a highlight, along with the excellent early breakfast. The neighborhood stays active late into the night, but it’s not disruptive to sleep and relaxation.
