"Bella Vista was really good on most levels and we definitely wouldn’t have any problems staying here again. The staff, especially the manager were great overall and couldn’t have been any more helpful. The manager even dropped my cousin off at the railway station when we asked him for directions.
We did have a problem in our room as neither of our blinds were working and we had to have a couple of people come to look at it on our 1st night, but neither could fix it unfortunately, so it meant a bright and early wake up to the day. What was disappointing was the attitude of the 2nd of the 2 who came to take a look. When he said it couldn’t be fixed, I asked if there was another room we could move to, but he said no there was no room. I asked about compensation then and his reply was “it’s just a blind”, you’ll have to speak to the Manager.
We did speak to the manager the next morning and again he was really helpful, but he couldn’t fix it in the end either so offered us a new room. However, we decided against it at this point as that would be our last night and as we were leaving early the next day, a bright early wake up wasn’t an issue. So he didn’t charge us for our two breakfasts that we added to our room.
The cooked breakfast was very disappointing unfortunately, but there were other choices available from the menu and a buffet to choose from.
A few tweaks to this hotel and it would be amazing!!"
