"This is a nice apartment in a block of apartments that share a small pool. Other residents were friendly and the apartment is in walking distance of a couple of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Colombres is in a beautiful location with an interesting history and access to the mountains and beaches of Asturias. "Nice proprierty with large rooms and all the modern confort needed for vacations. The garden is quiet and perfect to lye in the sun when it shows or eat outside. And the surroundings are absolutly great for those who like low mountain trekking. Paysages are breathtaking. And a brunch of Splendid beaches of Cantabria are only one hour away. The only minus is thé lack of noise isolation between floors, pbably due to thé fact it s an old house renewed. In total we had a very nice stay !"

"Perfect getaway from all things hectic. Simple, but beautiful, rural retreat, made a great base for exploring the foothills of Picos de Europa and further into the national park, but also close enough to enjoy the coast too. Very attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Excellent hotel with tranquil setting
"Stopped for two nights with my husband on a motorbike trip to the Picos. We loved staying here. We had a beautiful balcony view looking out on to farm land and mountains and could hear the birds singing. So tranquil. Loved all the geranium window boxes. So pretty. Staff were very friendly and we got by with speaking English and a little Spanish! The accommodation was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We could have parked the bike in the garage as pre arranged but felt it was safe to leave the bike at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, not a cooked breakfast , apart from fried eggs and pancakes on one day but plenty of choice and delicious. The restaurant for an evening meal was in a separate building up a hill on the other side of the road. It was only open 1 of the two nights we were there but the quality of the food was excellent and generous portions. The hotel was a perfect position for exploring the Picos and we preferred the more tranquil spot rather than stopping in Potes. Found it a bit tricky to find the entrance to the hotel at first. Think cars had to park on roadside but we could park the bikes in front of the property which was excellent. Wish we'd booked another night. Would I stay again...Yes, definitely. Sad to leave ."
