"Great choice of hotel, have stayed at most others in the area including the lodge, and while the Lodge is a little nicer for couples with the decor and fireplace, Trio is better for families with much larger rooms with kitchenette. Pool was actually warm which for CA is rare, but bird poo in communal areas because of endangered species. Breakfast isn't bad but Black Oak in town is better. "

"Room was spacious enough for two adults and quiet even though along a major street. The restaurant was very good and the live music was pleasant, not overbearing for environment. "

"Good location with a small hot springs fed pool. The staff was helpful and friendly. No breakfast is provided but the Calistoga Roastery opens early and is excellent - maybe 1/2 mile walk into town. They have a coffee machine in the lobby but for early risers, you can’t access it till 8.AM. Cold filtered water is always available for water bottles."
