Für kurzaufenthalt gut geeignet. Genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommmen. Leider hatten wir Schimmel in der Dusche. Hervorragend ist das Zugehörige Restaurant.

Nice and quiet area

Nice hotel, very clean, big parking place and nice stuff. Very nice and quiet area, but unfortunately a little to far from the city centre.

A good hotel with few things in need to change

Was a nice stay excellent breakfast very clean . Some dogs few night were barking in front of the hotel and was no measures taken to stop them from the staff. One day the large towels were not provided .

הגענו למלון בסביבות חצות, לצערנו לא היו מים חמים בחדר והמזגן לא חימם. לאחר שעה כשפקיד הקבלה הגיע לבדוק את החדר, טען שהמזגן עובד והמים "חמים". התעקשנו והועברנו לחדר אחר, שם המים באמת היו חמים. למחרת רצינו לראות את הנוף מהמרפסת והדלת יצאה ממקומה....

relaxing place to stay

We loved sunny hill. It had a balcony to relax on with a view of the hills. We ended up cancelling our next hotel and staying 2 more days.

Bello, ma..

Quasi tutto perfetto!! Camera suite molto bella, con jacuzzi in soggiorno. Forse la qualità dei materiali e le rifiniture un po' deludenti. Personale cordiale. Un può fuori dal centro, ma nemmeno troppo. Punto fortemente negativo il fatto che nella struttura vengono organizzati matrimoni o comunioni, fino a tarda notte musica che non ti lascia dormire!!

Hotel na wzgórzu,5 km od centrum,dojazd dogodny,dużo drogowskazów,sama droga dojazdowa nie najlepsza,ale asfaltowa.Obsługa recepcji miła,pokoje duże z minibarem,duża łazienka,jasne kolory,duże wygodne łóżko małżeńskie.Śniadania urozmaicone,możliwość spożywania na tarasie.Ceny hotelowej restauracji atrakcyjne,obsługa różna,zależy od zmiany.Cena hotelu ze śniadaniem bardzo atrakcyjna. A distance from downtown, but quiet and relaxing

Plan to call for a cab often if you stay at the beautiful Hotel Sunny Hill (known to taxi drivers as Hotel Tulip). It should be roughly 25 lei to get from downtown to the hotel, or the reverse. Or if you're in the mood to walk, it's a beautiful 1-hour walk downtown. You can take the less traveled route 91 for safety as cars travel very fast along the main road. The hotel is clean and fairly comfortable, but I especially enjoyed the private balcony overlooking the northeastern Padurea Faget, a deep, lush woodland. The food at the adjoining restaurant is very good, but the item you select on the menu may not be available. The staff at both hotel and restaurant are VERY friendly and helpful, as well as being quite fluent in English in case your Romanian is weak (as mine is).

Non ho avuto modo di apprezzarne il servizio e quant'altro, ho dormito una notte sola ed al mattino, dopo un'abbondante colazione, sono ripartito. Assolutamente ordinato e pulito, ambiente silenzioso e discreto.Unica pecca è la distanza dal centro, problema che diventerebbe nullo considerando il costo del taxi, cosa che aimè non è stato per me, infatti mi sono fatto fregare ben tre volte il prezzo che avrei dovuto pagare per la sola andata dall'aeroporto internazionale di Cluj-Napoca all'hotel. Ho scoperto solo al mattino che avrei dovuto spendere decisamente meno cioè appunto un terzo. Diciamo che questo problema potrebbe essere risolto costruendo una sinergia tra l'Hotel ed una compagnia di Taxi a tutela dei propri clienti.

Very comfortable hotel

The hotel was very comfortable and modern. The service was excellent and the staff wonderful and respectful. Even the taxi price to and from the hotel was at an acceptable level so I would recommend this hotel very well.

Am Wochenende laut

Die Durchführung verschiedener Veranstaltungen, die mit Lärm und lauter Musik verbunden sind, ist hier zumindest an den Sommerwochenenden offensichtlich einer der Schwerpunkte der Geschäftstätigkeit. Dadurch wird die an sich sehr schöne und ruhige Lage leider stark beeinträchtigt. Während die Innengestaltung des Hotels generell eher lieblos erscheint, sind die Zimmer schön, sauber und komfortabel. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter (Restaurant, Rezeption) könnte sich dagegen durchaus noch steigern.

Comfortable enough place if understaffed

Appears to be a 1990s refurbishment of an older building. About 10 minutes drive out of Cluj, off the Turda road in the countryside. The hotel is actually the "Royal Tulip - Sunny Hill" The place felt a little like the Marie Celeste, with hardly any staff around. Our room safe was found locked, but the receptionist said there was nothing she could do as she was the only member of staff present after about 5pm. There was one (very friendly) waiter in the restaurant, and next morning we had to wait for several minutes to find somebody in reception to pay. Lift is hidden away down a corridor and there are some tricky low steps to catch out the unwary (or disabled). However despite all this, a comfortable enough place.

Suites très spacieuses avec grand lit confortable, 2 salles de bain et salon pour moins de 100€! Calme, a 10 min du centre. Petit dej a volonté. Attention, Le personnel parle peu Anglais. Bien vérifier que le taxi est commandé à la bonne heure par exemple...
