Graciously greeted by office staff, pleasantly surprised by the updated room interior which included a kitchenette, sweet little firepit/outdoor seating area - located within walking distance of 2 restaurants and Plank coffee - would absolutely stay again - thank you, Vineyard Valley Inn!

Sleepy gem.
Lovely motel just outside the downtown core. Very quiet location. Clearly an older building but renovated with care. We arrived fairly late in the day and where given an excellent recommendation for dinner as Cloverdale rolls up the sidewalk pretty early on a Tuesday night. Bonus they had laundry machines available handy for those on a multi day trip with limited luggage.

Poor cable big refrigerator
Overall okay experience but there was a problem with the cable. Nobody was on premises so when I called someone came to switch rooms to one with better cable service but the room wasn’t as good as the first so decided to stay. The big downside as is usual with hotels is the air conditioner blowing on us all night making it uncomfortable to sleep. The size of the refrigerator and kitchenette was the main upside.

Charming and clean accommodations
Attended a wedding in the Sonoma foothills and was looking for a convenient place to stay. I actually prefer the simple amenities provided at Vineyard Valley Inn and it was located a 15-minute drive from the wedding venue. Our room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Most importantly, I felt safe staying at this location as a single woman traveling with child. The location and beauty of the surrounding area was also a plus.

Booked room a week in advance through Expedia, but when we got to property (after a very long drive) no one was there to check us in & a note on door with a phone number to call. New owners said they didn't receive our reservation BUT they came back to property very quickly & got it all figured out in a timely manner & were apologetic & got the situation all take care of. Super nice people.

Great little Family Motel!!!
This is probably the 4th or 5th time we've stayed at this motel... It's friendly, clean, & convenient. We took 2 rooms, as I snore. Mum was a bit upset, as the TV had no volume control. "On" was fine for me but Mum's hard of hearing so blaring the TV wouldn't have been kind for neighbors!! Highly Recommend this small, all on one level, Friendly Little Family Motel!!

It was in a pleasant spot, very clean, helpful staff. There was a kerfuffle because the check in clerk gave me keys to the wrong room, and we had to go back to straighten it out. Otherwise I would return there if in the vicinity.

Nice Inn near outside of town. Outside fresh painted, room 110 was sufficiently spacious, large shower, and we loved that it had no carpet. The place was clean except I had to chase a small spider in the bathroom that freaked me out but I would stay again.

I have never had such a bad experience with a guest who was supposed to stay for 3 nights. At check in she said she might have to leave early, I said no problem let me know and I will refund you. On the 2nd day she came into the office demanding a full refund on her stay yelling obscenities, calling me names and threatening me. I gave her a full refund. She left the room very dirty not normal use for a one day stay. Now she post a review claiming to have stayed the 3 nights it's a shame to have experienced a problem with her.

The owners were very nice and welcoming, continually asking if I needed anything. The room was small but the bathroom was roomy. The bed, pillows, and towels were very nice. I need some pillows like those in my house!

Clean, simple, safe and quiet
Vineyard Valley Inn was the perfect stop for us during a wine tasting weekend. We've been to Healdsburg a number of times, so we didn't need to be in the middle of town for a stay. VVI is close enough to have dinner in Healdsburg with just a short15 minute drive to Cloverdale. The motel is clean, simple, safe and quiet, which is all we needed! We enjoyed a delicious coffee and pastries in Cloverdale the next morning before heading out for more wine tasting just 15 minutes away!

Top of Cloverdale!
The facility looks newly refurbished in and out. Layout of the room is intelligent making best use of the space. Only advice, if approaching from the south, on the corner of the block is an unrelated motor court. The Vinyard is the NEXT driveway!

Great little room with surprise kitchen amenities (2 burner stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker). Owners were very friendly. Place was very quiet. Parking available right in front of room. Would stay here again.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Quick and easy check in. Our room was ready ahead of time. The room was way smaller than what it appeared to be online. I had to turn sideways to walk between the end of the bed and dresser. For the price I paid I’d expect a bigger room at least.

Cloverdale is a nice little city with very friendly people. Not a Hilton or Marriot in sight and WE LOVED IT!!! The Vineyard Valley Inn fits rite in with this rustic mountain style and JULIO and staff were very good!! Will find a reason to go back!!

Very simple but clean. Walls are very thin, but it seems to be mostly occupied by workers. So they go to bed early and get up early. My schedule, so it was fine. Front desk person was very accomodating in switching me to a quieter room off the street.
