The Space:

Located less than a block away for a leisurely stroll on a semi-private beach, this two-story home puts you in a prime location! Start your day with morning coffee on the furnished lower-level deck or the upper-level balcony. When you return home from a day of exploring, cozy up by the gas fireplace with a good book or for cocktails and chit-chat. In the evenings, prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen and share them at the adjacent expandable dining table that seats eight. End your days with a movie night on the living room TV. Additional amenities you can find here include a beach wagon, sand toys, four adult camper chairs, a Columbia cooler bag, beach towels, a Solo Stove firepit with kindling bins, and S'mores sticks - all stored in the garage.

Nice location, ample room. Need to upgrade the hand towels and wash clothes, they were paper thin. The house Manager was very courteous. We didn't have any issues. Thank you!

Nice Weekend

Nice location for visiting Whalen Island and Sand Lake Recreation area. Comfortable and clean. If you arrive at night, bring a flashlight to illuminate the door entry keypad. There was no external light. We had a great visit.

Amazing house in a special location

House is spacious, newly renovated, fully equipped, plenty of gear in the kitchen if you like to cook. You can tell that the owners really care. Great for 2 families. Super close to beach, extremely quiet neighborhood, close to town and to great hiking at Sitka Sedge & Cape Point State Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was older, but very well maintained. Just a short walk to the beach. The extra touches that were provided were appreciated (beach towels, beach wagon, sand toys, roasting sticks, firewood). We would definitely recommend this house!

Shortest walk to the beach

Great house that is very close to the beach and you don’t have to cross the main road. The house looks to be newly remodeled - which is great but the bedroom doors are not locked on hinges, therefore don’t close. Keep in mind that this is a split level house, if you have older people in your family who have a hard time using stairs. Plenty of sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, dishwashing tablets, and best of all we didn’t even have to use our sand toys. They had beach toys and a pull wagon available to use, which was perfect. They also have firewood available. Laundry room was useful, beds comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and will be coming back.
