"Great location probably as close as you can get in an STR to Cloudland Canyon. It's cute and was a good size for my husband and 4yo & 7yo. Appreciated that the refrigerator had an ice maker and that the backyard has a fire pit. Some things were not in great repair- every time you use the water there's a loud banging in the walls that takes 2 minutes to go away, so not great if you need to use the restroom at night or in the early morning. "

"We have found our new happy place and are already planning on staying here again next year!!! The home was beautifully decorated, spotlessly cleaned, and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. I loved getting ready for the day while gazing out over the valley. The pictures do not do the view justice. This was definitely one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Don't hesitate; just book it!"

"We stayed for 3 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids. Our kids are teens so it was a little cramped, but we expected it from the listing. Everything about this place is perfect for a small family. Fishing, kayaking, playing games at night. It was exactly what we wanted and needed. "

"This cabin was in a perfect location for a quick drive to enjoy Cloudland Canyon State Park. We travel a good bit and say it many different places and this home stood out for its cleanliness inside. The kitchen is updated and clean. We did not do much cooking, but it had the pans that we needed. The third bedroom has two single beds, though the listing says it is a queen bed. But that worked for us traveling with three children! We would stay here again. "

"Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a week stay. Location was good for our trips to Chattanooga, Cloudland Canyon SP and Chickamauga NMP as well as groceries. Fire pit and hot tub were enjoyed a few times. If we have one suggestion it would be to provide options to have the bedrooms darker. Overall we would recommend this cabin. "

"First and foremost, the host is incredibly nice and welcoming. And the view is second to none, it was amazing to see the mountains and valleys.The biggest thing I’d like to relay to other potential people is that this is not an isolated cabin. You are essentially staying in an apartment style space underneath the main cabin you see in the photo. And while it is private, there are two entrances into your space that you have to make sure is locked for complete privacy. If I could recommend improvements, I would say new and better mattresses as a start. The current spring mattresses are definitely worn and bouncy.. we found ourselves falling into the middle of the bed because there was a dip from wear on the springs. The balcony could use some freshening up, such as maybe more lighting for a more ambient feel while in the jacuzzi. As it is now, there’s barely any light on the balcony to enjoy night time outside. I would replace the TV soon as it has burn in(can you see the lights on the panel through the screen.) and finally, I would recommend updating some of the interior furniture… such as a nightstand that is functional. All in all, I believe the view made the price worth it but for our preference, I likely wouldn’t stay here again. Dave is very nice, and seems to be already working on improving areas of the space. Just be aware, this is not an isolated space, it is an apartment under Dave’s home/space(same building). "
