Welcome to this peaceful cabin, nestled on the edge of the Lincoln National Forest, just 4 miles outside of Cloudcroft.
Please note * This is an OFF-GRID cabin. STAIRS are 12 steps up to the bedrooms, with a Composting Toilet type restroom located on the first floor. NO TRAILERS OR RV’s as there is not a turn around.
This lovely retreat features 2 cozy bedrooms with one queen bed and 3 twin size beds, perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends and/or family. With propane heating or a wood fireplace available, guests can relax in the comfortable living space indoors or enjoy the propane fire pit on the balcony while overlooking the forest. Enjoy your morning coffee while looking for wildlife and birdwatching. *Unplugged/Off-Grid/ Solar power with Generator backup * No phone service/ Wi-Fi available for Wi-Fi Calling * Smart TV * Mountain gravel road (Oct thru Apr: Four-Wheel-Drive may be required) * Faucet water is from catch system. Bottled water is provided. * Composting toilet with easy-to-follow instructions * Freestyle forestry hiking

Very nice little cabin just a few miles outside of Cloudcroft which we were looking for - lots of peace and quiet. Back of cabin had a lot of the biggest and most beautiful blue birds we had ever seen. Check in was a breeze - enjoyed our stay!

Great rustic cabin, very quiet location up a 1 lane private track. Near to cloudcroft. Had a great 1 day/2 night stay. Breakfast provided, which was nice (eggs, sausage, pancake mix). Slept our family of six easily. My kids got a kick out of the composting toilet. I’d stay again.

Fantastic host!

This is a cool off the grid cabin in the NM mountains. Birds, elk, squirrels, and humming birds. Check in is very easy. There is a gate with a remote to get to a forest road.

Very cute and cozy. Clean and simple.Tons of amenities.Becky and husband went over and beyond making sure our stay was comfortable.Road-driveway a little freaky with the high side drop , but TG wasn’t muddy and no incidents.Highly recommend this cabin. Only regret was staying 1night, as would have like to explore some of the trails and the lower firepit.Thx Becky.

Absolutely magical!

Absolutely magical! This cabin in the woods was the perfect mountain getaway for our family. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views made it feel like we were in our own private slice of nature. Our kids were completely captivated by the birds—especially the hummingbirds who put on quite the show as they zipped around and playfully fought over the feeder!The hosts were truly wonderful—welcoming, thoughtful.Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck, listening to the wind through the trees, or simply soaking in the stillness, this cabin offers the kind of serenity that’s hard to find. A perfect place to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We can’t wait to come back!
