"We had the most amazing stay at the Brown Hen. From the warm welcome from Gwyneth to the location which is rural and very very peaceful to the real home from home feel of the cottage. It was spotlessly clean and so well equipped, we had everything we needed. We spent 5 nights here and we would happily have stayed much longer. If you are in the area, be sure to stay here. "

"The home is a beautiful 1821 home. The pictures on VRBO don’t show how large it is. It’s two floors with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Some are en suite. The grounds are large and very private with an ancient Cedar tree. The kitchen is modern with period accents. The separate drawing room and dining rooms are spacious and comfortable."

"Loved that it was located in country and how peaceful and relaxing it was. Definitely need a car. Had beautiful sunrises and listening to birds as drinking morning coffee. We even had the local cows and cats come visit us! The hosts responded quickly when needed. Overall this was a great place for my spouse and I to celebrate our 25th anniversary while enjoying Ireland with our friends!"
