"Host was quick to communicate and easy to reach. House was very clean and well taken care of. Docks were nice, one covered and dockable the other more like a swimming and fishing platform, depth of water around the docks was good, and we had good luck fishing off the docks. House is in a quiet cove. AC worked great and shower water pressure was great. The kitchen was very well equipped. The screened in porch is a great perk with great views and fans to keep cool. We look forward to another opportunity to stay again."

"To be clear, the STAFF at this property were extremely kind. The room itself, especially the tub, was totally disgusting. I didn’t look at the tub when I checked in, I noticed it the next morning when I took a shower. The staff told me they were required to have bath mats and there was a delay in getting them delivered. I don’t have any idea what the other grime wax on the floor. It’s a cheap, very old motel. Lots of other guests hanging around on the stairway to the 2nd level (right outside my room), having loud conversations on their speaker phones. I would never stay here again and would definitely not recommend."

"This property is easy to get to and very clean. The yard and inside home was very clean. They have everything you need for cooking and grilling. Everything was perfect for my birthday weekend. Will be renting this place again. The sunsets are gorgeous on the back deck looking toward the water. They have a boat dock if you have a boat. Just a nice place to go and relax very quiet area."

"While this home looks cute at first glance, it is absolutely not the 'Luxury' property advertised. Upon our Saturday evening arrival, the cleanliness was unacceptable: the living room rug was filthy, the kitchen butcher block had black mold, the freezer had old spills, and corners were full of hair and cobwebs. The shower was covered in pink slime, the patio furniture was too dirty to use, and backyard weeds were taller than me. Worst of all, every single pillow and mattress was heavily stained. If it had not been so late at night, we would have left and found somewhere else to stay. Instead, we had to drive to a nearby Dollar General to buy shower cleaner, our own new pillows and bedding just to shower and sleep comfortably, which was far from ideal.When I messaged the host with photos, she blamed the mattress stains on previous guests leaving wet towels. She did not address my request for a partial refund until Tuesday, after I reached out to Vrbo customer service. She finally apologized, issued a 50% refund, and admitted the home was 'off' due to a previous three-month long-term guest with pets. While she claims to have since deep-cleaned and replaced the rug and bedding, I highly suggest future guests ask for updated photos before renting. The outdoor space is secluded and could be very nice, but the initial lack of maintenance and delayed communication made this a highly frustrating stay."
