"We did not get to have breakfast. When we checked in, the front desk guy told us breakfast was served until 10a.m. We got there at 8:50a.m., and waited for someone to seat us. The hostess came back to the front and told us it ended at 9a.m. So we missed out on the breakfast that I was hoping to celebrate. (Another couple was there at the same time we were, expecting the same, but was turned away as well.)"

"Room was gross. Toilet was not cleaned. Shower leaked. Dust everywhere. Walls were super thin. We happened to be by the Vick so we heard everything all night long. There was a door to go down our hall and that door opened and closed all night. Heard people across hall, beside us, and below. There was no peace so did not sleep at all. Staff at the Iris Cafe was amazing. Prices were high and very limited choices. Surprise bill of $40 a night for parking. Only Valet parking available with no other parking places except on street and in construction lot. Hotel may be directly across from University of Cincinnati but its location was in a bad area. Felt unsafe to walk south of hotel. Never staying here again."

"Very nice staff. The room was clean and decorated fun. There were some items that needed to be wiped down by myself such as the drawers and cabinets but overall clean. Great view."

"Not the greatest neighborhood, I would not be walking around after dark. But it's very convenient to Univ. of Cincinnati and all of the amenities that surround a college campus. The room was great. Clean, well-appointed, with all of the usual amenities. The property seems quite new, so the fixtures were modern and well-maintained. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast selection was modest, but more than sufficient. There was a different main meal each day of the stay, which I appreciated."

"Terisa was the most enthusiastic, hardest working hotel staff we have encountered in a very long time. She was at the reservation desk when we arrived in the afternoon, then she was serving us breakfast the following morning. The smile and positivity never escaped her, even during a very stressful time where she was the only staff member with numerous customers waiting to check in, she made our stay so enjoyable!"
