The first room we had smelled like gas. We were moved to another room, the sheets on the bed were stained. I woke up with bites on my hand. I will say the hallway was clean. The picture does not look like the building. Never again.

My Post op Stay at Travelodge by Wyndham in Lakew.

Didn't get to take advantage of any of the available sights or the hotel breakfast. Arrived after dark and left for the hospital at 5:30am. The hotel however was perfect for my needs. The room was the perfect size and the bed was comfortable. Had planned on checking out the waterfront on Saturday but the hospital sent me home on Friday. Plan to check things out in April on my return visit. The staff was wonderful and exceptionally helpful.

We left without staying there

The hotel has not been updated in years. While not outright dirty, paint was peeling and the room and bathroom looked like it couldn’t be cleaned. The halls and room smelled of cigarette smoke and weed. The back parking lot security camera was broken and we worried the truck and trailer would be broken into. The doors to the outside were not locked. The location of this property could be a great sell given its proximity to downtown Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I cannot believe it is a Wyndham property and makes me question ever staying in a Wyndham property again.

Room was good, clean and everything from towels to coffee was stocked up in the room. Only complaints with the room is there was a half drank water bottle in the fridge so it clearly didn’t get opened and cleaned out. The staff seemed like they just didn’t want to be there. When I went to check in the woman didn’t even look me in the eyes and seemed annoyed that she even needed to check me in at all. Person in the morning when I checked out had the same type of vibe. The only other thing I have to complain about is the breakfast. I wasn’t expecting 5 star or anything but the milk and orange juice containers were disgusting. There was old congealed milk around the spout. The syrup for the waffles tasted like it was expired. The batter for the waffles didn’t seem mixed at all. All in all it was nothing more than a place to sleep and the room in which I did so was in good condition.

The place was actually great and worth the money when I stayed there. The double queen room was only 2 full beds but we managed to fit in the beds. The staffs were very nice. The breakfast had breads, waffle maker, coffee, milk, and juice and maybe more, I was there at the eleventh hour. The bedsheet had some smell and feel to it but it honestly didnt bother me. We parked in the back and it did feel safe, they have CCTVs all over the place which was nice. Overall, my family and I liked our stay there. Thank you!

The staff were nice but not friendly. The hotel is in a great area of town and conveniently located. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is in rough shape. The room had been cleaned just before we checked in and there was a puddle of water in the bathroom. The sink, counter and tub were still wet. The sheets were clean but the comforter was either dirty or stained. The bed was very comfortable. The floor and shelves were dirty

On first appearance of property it’s looks terrible compared to pics in app, lobby is decent and staff is super nice and helpful. Got in my room and found it doesn’t have a shower curtain in it and ceiling tiles were broken and falling out, bed you can feel ever spring in it. All and all hotel should be shut down and completely remodeled or torn down and start over.

Please do not stay here! This place is a DUMP! The only reason why I gave it one star is because the staff were nice. I was supposed to stay only one night but due to unforeseen circumstances, I stayed two. I changed rooms four times! In the first room, the bathroom sink was clogged and filled with water so I got another room. In the morning, I discovered the shower didn’t workIn the third room, there were dead bugs on top of the bed.

The property was not well maintained. Lawn overgrown and trash in parking lot. My room had no soap, but had shampoo, no coffee maker but had coffee. It had no security latch on the door. There was no breakfast available at 0630 in the morning. However, the night manager Patrick was very friendly and attentive.

This was certainly not as shown in photos! Very old, very dilapidated and not well maintained. Dull dingy and need of much updating. Halls need painting, carpet stained,ripped and worn. Wi-Fi so weak we could barely open internet, TV did not work. We called desk for help w TV never saw anyone. No elevator Positive note: seemed like safe neighborhood, helpful checking in receptionist. Near several fast food and family restaurant. Room was very small but clean. Bathroom small but clean no closet, 1 old chair Overall give it 1 1/2 stars

Do NOT stay here! Filthy rooms!!

Booking this hotel so close to Lake Erie and the beach was the reason that we made the reservation. Upon entering the facility, the stale smoke smell permeated the lobby and hall as well as dealing with the dazed and confused counter attendant was pretty off-putting start to our stay in our 1st-ever trip to Cleveland. Dragging our luggage up the stairs (there's no elevator, folks!) and entering the dirty, musty hallway was just another demerit on the property. Entering the room, now that was bad! The carpet was so dirty and moldy. Both the microwave and refrigerator had food/drink residue from previous stays. Both bed comforters had stains on them. There were empty bottles and cans found under the bed as well as a lighter with other trash. The bathroom...equally as bad. Hair all over the baseboards and in the corners. Both the tub and the toilet had a ring around it. We had to go...after over 5 minutes. The desk clerk was again, nowhere to be found and when she arrived offered no help to resolve our refund. Manager and General manager can only be contacted via e-mail and not responded in over a week to numerous attempts. The hotel took our hard-earned money, kept our hard-earned money and offered no help in the matter. I repeat...DO NOT STAY HERE!

Why hotels.com wants to do business with dumps like this is beyond me. This place should be demolished. No towels or shower curtain. We were told they’d return with them in 10 minutes. Never returned. Non- working tv, busted up and smelly AC, brown streaks of god knows what on walls and door, dead outlets so no bed side light, FILTHY tub, busted chain lock and dish water coffee. And to top it off, man at front desk yapping about politics and religion and “friendly dictators. We felt ripped off and that we were going to catch a nasty disease. We are losing confidence in hotels.com. I think a refund or credit is appropriate.

The staff was nice to me when I checked in. But the heater did not work, and it was the dead of winter, and I was FREEZING. there were no sheets on the beds. I took the thin comforters from both beds and doubled them up and slept with my winter coat and all my clothes on, covered in pillows, trying not to freeze. The shampoo bottles in my room were empty. At breakfast they had a waffle making machine but no waffle batter. All they had was some raisin bran and juice. The cold was what really got me. Sorry to the kind staff for this bad review. I don't think it is your fault.

Save yourself - stay away

Scammers. Liars. Dirty, disgusting. Stay away. Room smelled soaked in urine. Man at front desk hassled us. Pitbull loose in lobby. Filthy - everywhere. We did not feel safe. They also scammed us and we are working to get money back.
