The outside area of this property is amazing. The decks are huge and the creek is right there to listen to and splash around in. I’d say that all of the reviews we read before are accurate- there is little privacy in the bedrooms, one bedroom is really a cot, the kitchen is split level which is a bit inconvenient. And, it’s very cozy, a great location, and we had a great time! I’d be less likely to book during winter, when inside quirks might be more problematic. And I’d certainly book again during warmer months, to take advantage of the outside space!
Beautiful property! Loved the unique layout of the A-Frame. Felt very secluded. Peaceful, beautiful creek with a few small falls located right outside!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was secluded enough that you felt like you were away from others, but still an easy drive to town! My toddler (2) enjoyed all of the stairs ha. The layout of the cabin was cool to us and we enjoyed it. We would stay again!
The Cabin was very nice. We loved the cozy feeling of the living area. The hot tub is the nicest we have had at a cabin. The house is not too far from Helen and also very close to Ingles if you forget something. We pretty much just stayed in though and enjoyed the cabin!
Property and view was lovely. Upstairs is not a twin bed, it’s a cot. Downstairs bedroom needs some privacy. The waterfall on the property is quite stunning and a complete surprise from the listing photos.
Cabin is isolated in the woods. It is s beautiful A frame inside and out! The beams and woodwork really enhanced the experience. The cleanliness was notable!! Everything needed was supplied. Again, great getaway!
Very relaxing and calm and the creek sounds are great. I might stay there again.... The spiral staircase to lower level might not be perfect for us old folks lol but the feel of being away from everything was perfect! I enjoyed my stay!
Everything was as expected. A little issue with some kitchen supplies not available but was able to purchase in town and left behind for next visitor. Creek and waterfall were calming, hot tub was wonderful, and best sleep we've ever had while travelling.
This "A"-Frame nestled in the woods with waterfall and creek was the perfect get-away, and relaxing retreat, that we were looking for. The split-level cabin was bigger than we expected and all of the amenities were there. The large hot tub Jacuzzi was the perfect spot to relax after hiking to two different waterfalls nearby. We enjoyed one full day just sitting by the creek, listening to the waterfall, with a fire burning in the fire pit. The cabin is located ten minutes away from shopping and about 15 minutes away from Germantown and other sites. The inside was very clean, and had everything we needed and more. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended this rental to our friends and family.
The location was great the property is very cute but needs some TLC lots of stairs not kid friendly or elderly . Need new beds and kitchen is small but manageable. Lots of games but no coasters. The creek gives is amazing and very relaxing. Also we came forChristmas and only had a small tree with lights
Beautiful setting! Rustic with all the conveniences. Maximum use of space with stairs and circular staircase. Driveway and outside stairs could use a little att. But there had been about a foot of rain from Helleen recently.
We came up for hiking Waterfalls in area. Cabin close to town but yet secluded enough to get away from it all! Enjoyed listening to the creek while drinking coffee in the mornings and enjoying some wine at night. Little touches from the rental company were so nice for the Kitchen and Bathrooms.
After hiking I didn’t enjoy the stairs as much but my daughter had a blast there with the spiral staircase and game table downstairs.
I did contact them about minor listing issue but they advised they corrected listing for future bookings. Overall a great place to stay, enjoy and relax.
What makes this property is the sight and sound of the waterfall. The beautiful view is from all decks and the hot tub is an added bonus. The main photo showed availability to the fire pit at the creek but was unavailable for us without any prior communication due to a stair safety hazard. While the contact manager was responsive, there was no solution, just an apology. Check this has been repaired prior to booking.

Not clean before check in
We arrived at the cabin two hours after check-in time to find none of the beds made and all of the dirty towels on the floor along with dirty dishes. within five minutes of speaking with the property manager the cleaning crew showed up and informed us that they had not been told about our complaint yet. they explained to us that Valentine’s Day weekend is extremely busy for them and were very nice and efficient. Our suggestion would be that more help is hired during peak rental dates or more communication is needed to the customer that the cabin is not ready along with an offer of some kind of refund. Also, there were not enough dishes, cups, or silverware available. The cabin itself and the land was beautiful and relaxing once we were able to settle in.
Let me start by saying that my family love this cabin. It was remote and peaceful with a beautiful creek on the property, a perfect spot to sit outside and read a book. The wooded hillside, pool table, fire pit and jacuzzi kept everyone busy when we were on property. And a quick 20 minute drive got us anywhere we wanted to be in Helen or the surrounding area. It was everything we hoped for.
A couple minor suggestions that would make the stay more enjoyable for any guests:
- Text the lockbox code rather a URL with the information. It was a fantastic vacation to have no cell service but frustrating when we arrived and couldn’t figure out how to get in the house.
- The bottom floor was unbearably humid to sleep in. A dehumidifier or DampRid would have gone a long way for comfort.
- A set of blankets for the pullout couch would have been helpful for our teenager.
All of those things were minor and not a huge deal in the moment. We had a great vacation and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful cabin with awkward layout
First look of our cabin when arriving: it was just what we hoped for. Beautiful mountain cabin somewhat secluded in GA mountains and woods. We loved: surroundings, the feel of the log cabin, loved the pool table and we had many family tournaments. We loved the little creek and if it hadn’t rained the last two days we for sure would’ve enjoyed the wonderful fire pit along the creek (a creek, yes!!!) Great! Points of improvement: schlepping our dishes between the two kitchens (one with a stove and one with a dishwasher) via the narrow staircase was weird (annoying!). Things that we couldn’t find: a strainer, a medium size pan that wasn’t rusted, serving spoons, a garlic press and a broom but we made due. There were also just 4 forks. Also, to call it a three bedroom is a stretch. The little top floor where they placed an little “army stretcher” is part of the big bedroom. We have two teen boys that don’t care too much where or what they sleep on but if I would’ve brought my mom thinking that bedroom would be an option, we would be out of luck.
Cleanliness: sticky fingers on dirty windows, dusty surfaces and cobwebs. Someone drilled holes in the outside walls which left a lot of sawdust on all the outside decks. The outside chairs on the middle and lower deck where also bend / broken (two chairs from the outside dining set and all of the chairs on middle deck). Again we made due and things that can easily be fixed. The cabin worked for our family.
Our stay was great and everything was as expected. The only problem is the front door wouldn’t lock nor were there directions on how to lock the keyless entry.
It was quiet and clean and adoreable! The boys loved the hot tub, pool table and fire pit. I had a blast rock hunting in the creek! The boys panned for gold! The beds were so comfy you just melted in them. We had a great time and will be returning!
