    - This is a 2-story home, so stairs are part of the deal.

    - We may ask for a photo ID after booking. If you’re parking, we’ll need your car info too.

    - Quiet hours are from 10PM to 7AM — this is a residential building and we want to be great neighbors.

    - No parties, no smoking, no hanging out in common areas. (Any evidence of a party or smoking inside the unit will result in a $500 fee.)
    - We have a pet fee of $150 for the extra cleaning.
    - For everyone’s safety, the building has hallway security cameras and a Minut/NoiseAware device inside the unit — it only monitors volume, not conversations.

    We take house rules seriously to keep the space cozy and respectful for all guests and residents. Reservations may be canceled if flagged as high-risk.

When we checked in, temperature inside was 82 degrees. We set thermostat to 68 to cool it off. That only raised the temp to 83. Texted host and left for night out. Our entire stay was 82/83 degrees inside. No screens on downstairs windows, hole in upstairs patio door screen (plus decking outside was connected to neighbors so not exactly safe). Maintenance records on heating/cooling unit showed that last servicing was in 2004. (Easy to see this because one of the bifold doors was gone, exposing washer/dryer and hvac.) At no point in our communications with Anna did she attempt to bring in service workers. We sweated. Spent as little time as we could in rental. Anna did refund a day’s rental; however, not all the fees associated with it. Bed was comfortable. I will say that.

Everything was exactly as listed-it was close to downtown arenas, bars, and restaurants. It was clean and came with a designated parking spot in a private garage. Our host was very responsive and helpful.
