Whether you're looking to relax or work remotely, our property offers fiber internet and inspiring mountain views, allowing you to stay productive while enjoying the beauty of North Georgia. With plenty of parking and ramp access into the cabin, our retreat is both accessible and inviting.

    Inside, you'll find a spacious master bedroom on the main floor, complete with a King bed, 50" Roku TV, and an en-suite bathroom featuring double sinks and a walk-in shower.

    The second bedroom on the main floor also offers a King bed, a 50" Roku TV, and a bathroom just outside the door.

    The den is designed for relaxation, featuring comfortable seating, an assortment of games, and a 65" Roku TV.

    Gather around the large dining table, which seats 8, and enjoy meals prepared in the fully stocked kitchen.

    For coffee lovers, our fully stocked coffee station with local coffee is sure to delight. We've also provided a fully stocked s'mores tray for memorable nights around the outdoor firepit.

    Upstairs, the loft serves as a cozy reading and game room with a sofa, poker/bumper pool table, games, books, and toys, as well as two double beds and one queen bed for extra sleeping space.

There's plenty of land to run and play, including a 1-acre pond stocked pond. Enjoy pedaling around the pond in the pedal boat that can hold up to 5 people. For some friendly competition, try your hand at corn hole.

    This is more than just a place to stay—it's a destination for romance, connection, and fun. Couples will find the perfect setting for a romantic escape, with quiet trails to wander hand in hand and cozy spots to enjoy a sunset picnic. Families can reconnect in a spacious and safe environment, with plenty of room for kids to run and explore. And if you're gathering with friends, our retreat offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

    While you may be tempted never to leave the property, the surrounding area offers plenty to explore. We're located just 7 minutes from Helen, 30 minutes from Dahlonega, and 20 minutes from Clarkesville. Our family had such a wonderful stay at Woodchuck Acres! From the moment we arrived, it felt peaceful, welcoming, and like a true home away from home.The cabin was cozy and thoughtfully stocked with all the little things you usually forget to pack. It was obvious that Christy has gone the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable, and those extra touches made a big difference.One of our favorite ways to start the day was relaxing on the porch bed swing with a cup of coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. Evenings were just as memorable, filled with cornhole tournaments, roasting s'mores around the fire, and making family memories.The pedal boat was a huge hit! We spent time out on the water fishing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The duck scavenger hunt was another fun surprise that kept everyone entertained and added a special touch to our stay.The location was perfect, too. We loved cooling off at the nearby rock slide at Wildcat Creek, found some great treasures while thrifting in the area, and enjoyed several delicious local restaurants.Christy was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a place where families can relax and reconnect. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty to do nearby and a cabin that truly feels like home, Woodchuck Acres is the perfect choice. We can't wait to come back!
