Bayside Cottage

Enjoy the tranquility of Clear Lake's Bayside area. This retreat offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, attached 2-car garage, open floor plan, & private rear yard. This makes an outstanding getaway with room for the whole family, plus extra parking for boats & lake toys.

Avoid crowds by walking to Bayside beach and relax in the sun with the whole family. Within 2 1/2 blocks you will find a boat launch, picnic area, beach, and dock. PM Park, with restaurant, Tiki Bar, beach, and park is just a little farther down the street. The Sweet Spot ice cream is across South Shore Drive.

A boat launch is 2 1/2 blocks at the Bayside beach. State Park is 1.3 miles. It is just off South Shore Drive and has a large park area and beach. City Beach and boat launch is downtown Clear Lake by City Park (2.2 miles). McIntosh State Park is 4.5 miles in Ventura.

Perfect spot

Loved the house and the location. Fishing trip with friends and the lake is a block away. House had everything you need, and was cozy and clean. Would love to stay here again.

Home away from home!

The Bayside Cottage had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Very clean and nicely decorated, easy to get to, and close to Clear Lake and Mason City. We would definitely stay here again!

perfect place if you are traveling with boats

beautiful little place, perfect location. 3 of us stayed and we each had a boat. plenty of room to back the boats and trucks into driveway and charge them up over night. very homey and comfortable.

Charming quiet place to stay for a fun weekend get away. Conveniently located to run into town to enjoy all that Clear Lake has to offer. Wonderful memories were made.

Excellent stay

We only had a short stay at the property but it was very, very nice. It was clean and 100% as advertised. I would stay there again next time I am in the area. 5 Stars for sure

Perfect place for a family

We came to Clear Lake to do some ice fishing. It was very close to Farmers Beach, which was very helpful. The house was beautifully updated and had every amenity we needed. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Would love to return in the summer to utilize the beautiful outdoor space!

Too short of a getaway

We were only in town for two nights, but we made the most of it. The house is in a great location and more adorable in person than the pictures show it to be. The place was stocked with everything we needed.

Lake cottage

Clean, updated, comfortable, quiet, the list is endless. Communication and responsiveness from the host was superb. I highly recommend a stay here and if given an opportunity, I would gladly stay again.

Little get away

Wonderful clean house, great decor, great hostess. Close to about everything you need. Plenty of driveway space for boat & cars plus use of the garage to hang out, and a fenced in back yard!!!

Beautiful home

Lovely house. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. It was perfect for our girls weekend. Looking forward to staying here again. Host was very responsive when we locked ourselves out of the house.

Wonderful

Unfortunately we were in town for a funeral so we were not there but to sleep, but your house was so homey and clean - just what we needed and were able to spend time together. Thank you. Hope to be back and enjoy it more next time!

Clear Lake review

This is a well maintained clean property. Feels newly remodeled. Well equipped large kitchen with 2 outdoor entertainment areas. Walking distance to the marina and PM Park. A 3 mile drive to downtown Clear Lake. Clear Lake is a wonderful resort town. Plenty of dining, sightseeing and recreation options. Highly recommend this property, and Clear Lake for a destination.

Pleasant!

We stayed here in mid-October, so we missed the inevitable summer vacation crowds. The town and the lake were quiet and charming. The house was clean as a whistle and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and fun to cook in; people can sit at the bar and chat while meals are being prepared. The deck off the living room and the nice patio behind the house offer outside gathering areas. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. My cousin and I — both in our 70s — loved this little getaway cottage!
