Great holiday house

Lovely house for a short getaway. Has all that is needed such as coffee machine and airfryer. Also washing machine for longer stays. Nice deck out the back with a BBQ. Walking distance to Lake Alexandrina

We were just looking for a couple of nights somewhere a little out of the way

The hosts did everything they could to help us in settling in and info about the area . The house was clean and comfortable . It’s an out of the general tourist spot. It’s worth a look and hopefully the cafe will reopen and a coffee can be purchased out of the house

Relaxing Short Stay

We found the property to be ideal for a recent short stay. Everything we required was supplied, all we had to bring was ourselves. The property was clean and tidy and very comfortable for our family of three. Communication was good and check-in easy. I would recommend Kangaroo Pause to anyone looking for a holiday in the area. Perfect house. Beautiful setting

When going to Kangaroo Pause you do not need to take anything but yourself and some food. The house is perfectly equipped down to the smallest detail. The mattresses need replacing, but the linen was so nice and soft! Thank you Tania and Brian

Perfect little getaway

Thank You so much Brian and Tania for allowing us to stay kangaroo pause. We definitely did pause for a couple of days and enjoy the serene location that Clayton Bay offers. The complimentary wine went down a treat and the house was fully equipped with everything needed to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The only downfall on our end was this was meant to be me and my partners anniversary getaway, but covid had other plans so instead last minute plans allowed us to celebrate my birthday at your little piece of paradise with our family and it all worked out perfect. Thanks again for being so accomodating ☺️

Calm and tranquil

Thank you for sharing your property, Tania and Brian. A special thank you to both for being excellent with communication. Calm and serene surroundings with short walk to the waters nearby. The area does not have great phone coverage so the availability of wifi in theproperty is an EXCELLENT feature to stay connected to the world, should you wish to 🙂. Clean & comfortable in picturesque location

The property was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Great location, very short walk to the water and great walking trails. However, it was advertised that there was internet at the property, but we were unable to access the internet (no password provided) and even the phone reception wasn't great. For a couple days stay this wasn't a big deal (however the kids initially weren't happy!).

Great winter weekender

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Kangaroo Pause. Kids played soccer on front lawn and we went for bike rides down by the water. Great little winter getaway. Great location for exploring local wineries.

A comfortable stay at this property. The home is quite new and had most of the things we needed for a short stay for a small family. The house was clean and tidy and the owners very helpful.

The Serenity was awesome

My dad was recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, so this was a great place for us both kick back and relax. The local eatery Sails was amazing, had a gentle walk there and had amazing local Ciirong Mullet. Excellent service we actually ate there twice. https://sails-at-clayton-bay.business.site/ The second bed was surprisingly comfortable, but could do with an upgrade. I took my own wi-fi modem which saved the day fir all things tech related. The Tejstra phone reception is marginal, but wi-fi calling using my modem worked well. Possibly a wi-fi modem or nbn could also help with TV options as well. The weather wasn't great during out stay, but the property was very homely just to kick back and do not much. We certainly loved our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to cine back again. Great job Brian and Tanya for a beautifully presented home.

Lovely clean property. We had such a lovely peaceful time. We had all we needed plus. Perhaps the bed in the 2nd bedroom could be updated - was very low and not very comfortable.

A brilliant and relaxing getaway - we will be back!

My wife was wanting a quiet getaway for herself and our two girls. and this proved ideal. Easy communication and directions too from Brian. This was an ideal and beautiful location to just head off and relax at for a few days. My family all loved both the house and the location. We will certainly be back!
