Great place to stay. Lots of room, very clean, host was very friendly. Hot tub was awesome, right on the river, lots of room for the dogs to run, we had a very relaxing weekend. Thank you!

This is a delightful place!

This was our second stay & I can't say enough good things about the house & location. The furnishings & decorations are tasteful, the kitchen is well-stocked, & there are a choice of places to gather or be apart. It's a gem!

Family getaway

Perfect place to ride bikes, kayak, bird watch, go for walks, and just spend time with the family. The hot tub and gas grill were nice to be able to use.

Family fun

The house was so comfortable! It was immaculate, beds comfortable, and had all we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with cook wear and moimportantly a keurig and drip.

We had a fantastic time staying for our 2nd time. We love the cabin. Virginia is great. Cabin has everything you need. Close to hiking trails. Looking forward to when we can return again.

Sister Get Away Weekend

Clear Creek Cottage was a perfect place for our weekend getaway. The cottage was beautiful and provided a quiet and calming stay. The host was very helpful with all the information we needed for a successful weekend! I would definitely rate this cottage a 10 out of 10!

Loveliest stay ever!

I cannot recommend this cabin enough. My family and I keep coming back because it's wonderful, quaint, and quiet. An easy trip down to the river, and a beautiful property overall. Virginia, the owner, is very communicative and friendly. We always love this cabin and we know you will too!

Such a quiet neighborhood. Great location for kayak shuttling & biking. The house has separate areas to provide lots of space. The BRs & BAs are conveniently located. We were delighted with our stay.

Perfect River Vacatuon

Second time for us at the cottage, and it did not disappoint! The property is well kept, the cottage is roomy, comfy, and clean, and the river is so close! Host is communicative and seems to have thought of anything you might possibly need during your visit. Absolutely great place to stay.

Great getaway

The cottage was very clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the short walk to the river. The owner was very nice and responsive. We would definitely recommend the cottage to others and hopefully we’ll be visiting again soon!

Favorite rental so far

We have rented several cabins in the area and this was our favorite by far. Great location - the kids lived the yard and campfire. We had a great time fishing and canoeing and coming home to the hot tub was an added bonus. Plenty of space to unpack and unwind. Looking forward to a future stay!

The house was great … lots of space … kitchen was super well equipped … beds were comfy … bathrooms were clean … the overall property was amazing with a beautiful front porch and back deck .. hot tub was great … the fire pit was enjoyed … we especially loved the short walk to the river and spending time skipping rocks, enjoying the peacefulness .. and was in awe of an eagle that soared by us!Wi-fi service was available. The host was great … good communication, responding immediately to questions in advance, checking in to be sure all was ok.My 3 year old niece was very sad to leave … she thought this was their new home that they would be living in. I would highly recommend this home.

Great get away

Needed to get away a few days. This was a nice place to decompress and enjoy the deer and birds. Enjoyed the hot tub in the snow. And coffee by the fireplace! Clarion River was a short walk through the woods. Took a ride down the road and saw an eagle.

Wonderful Clarion river getaway

We had such a nice relaxing stay! Plenty of space for 7 adults. Enjoyed the hot tub and walk to the river. The house was nicely divided into two areas which was nice for half of the group that wakes early and the others that like to sleep in. Loved the screened in porch. Owners were helpful and responded quickly. Very centrally located to Clear Creek and Cook Forest. Very clean and well maintained home.

A Peaceful Getaway

The location within a short walk to the Clarion River was lovely and very quiet. We enjoyed the unique layout of the house, which accommodated our families and allowed for some separate spaces. The screened in porch leading on to the deck was a favorite hang out for reading, listening to music and sharing meals. And it was still cool enough in April to allow us use of the cozy fireplace in the evenings.There are a lot of outdoor activities in the area, but honestly we just enjoyed chill-axing at the house more than anything over our long Easter weekend reconnecting with adult kids and our grandson.

Amazing getaway to recharge

The cabin exceeded my expectations. Very clean. Lots if space. Enjoyed being able to connect with nature. Our dog Quincy, was very comfy staying there. Virginia was very easy to connect with and privided great tips and suggestions. Can't wait to return.

Spacious woodsy retreat

Stayed 2 nights, 4 of us in 3 generations, to be closer drive to eclipse totality without overcrowded setting. Fulfilled our hopes and beyond with full kitchen, cozy seating, plenty of room for family time and privacy. Love the picturesque backyard trees with fairytale path to river. Find the 2nd Full BR downstairs in clean and open basement. Wonderful find!

Autumn trip to Cook Forest

Cottage is comfotable and clean, the river is a short walk through the woods, outdoor space includes a deck, 3 season room, hot tub, and fire ring. Very nice. Kitchen is well equipped, however skimpily stocked. No sugar, aluminum foil, basic spices? Even the salt shakers were empty. A starter bundle of fire wood would have been appreciated.

Beautiful Wooded Setting

This rental worked out well for our annual family fall weekend with our adult children and their spouses. The house is in a beautiful and peaceful wooded setting. We had great weather so we enjoyed the amenities of the hot tub, fire pit, and screened in porch. The steps to the kitchen and bathrooms were a bit of a challenge with a sprained knee. Easy to communicate with Virginia. Thank you.
