Nothing but praise for the excellent hospitality and standards maintained by Francois and Gerrit. A lovely small town with reliance on tourism and facilities to please the whole spectrum. The Re Treat is high grade in most respects but not cost. If ever we go back that way this is where we'll head for.

The room is kitted out with good quality linen towels and furniture. The owner was very helpful and the chef went out of his way to prepare food suitable for my dietary requirements. Very clean and well run establishment.

Very good
A warm welcome, nicely laid out unit, the bedroom a little small, and I personally found the bed a little soft. However, overall very comfortable, and a place I would visit again in the future. A special touch was a delivery of 5l of water as there had been a water problem in the whole town.

Dear Jenni Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us. The burst pipe that caused our part of town to be without water for a few hours caught us all off guard. Thank you for be so gracious about this. We have tried to equip our units with medium-firm beds because it really is difficult to get it "just right" for everyone because, as you said, everyone has a personal choice when it comes to bed firmness.

This is an excellent choice for anyone staying in Clarens. The studio was very comfortable and peaceful, as well as being located within a pleasant walk of the town, and being in a lovely setting. I had booked at short-notice, but the owner made me feel very welcome and made sure my studio was ready for me when I arrived.

Wir erhielten ein Upgrade für Unit 6. Das Apartment war sehr schön eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Jeden Tag wurde es gereinigt. Leider gab es im Außenbereich außer einer Steinbank ohne Lehne keine gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das war schade.
