Don't stay here

This hotel is very run down, dirty and downright scary. If there were other rooms available elsewhere, I would have checked out. The front clerk was pleasant so not a reflection of her. The rooms smelled like an ashtray. There was no soap. Bathroom was dirty. If it wasn't a have to would not have stayed. You would be better sleeping in your car.

This hotel was horrific. It was filthy. There were so many flies. The floors and walls were stained. We arrived at night. We were coming from Colorado and exhausted. We went to sleep only to be woken up at 7am BY A LAWNMOWER. My husband asked them to please move away from right outside our room. They did not. I called and asked to speak with the manager. The female on the phone stated she was the manager. When I started my complaint she said she would tell the manager. Do yourself a favor… GO SOME WHERE ELSE. This place should be shut down.

Dirty, unkempt, and the water was FULL HOT...couldn't cool it down, had to yake a really fast but blistering shower. The maintenance guy explained that the water heater had been replaced and some adjustments still needed to be made. So, youre using your guests as guinea pigs to test boiling water? Totally unacceptable for a $90 room. Or any room, for that matter.

Very disappointed stay

Was told the room was remodeled but the paint was peeling and caulking was stained in bathroom. Bath was very small and no counter space. Was disappointed in the room & there was supposed to be breakfast provided but they only had coffee, juice & breakfast bars available. Bldg. Outside was terrible and all needs to be remodeled or torn down. Would never stay there again.

Not bad

Very acceptable accommodations for the price. The "free breakfast" was a disappointment. It consisted of coffee and granola bars. It was quite and safe and the people were friendly. If you are expecting four or five star accommodations this is not where I would send you. But if you need a nice clean place to stay p when you are visiting clanton Alabama or if you need a rest stop when you get too tired to keep driving this is a decent place to choose and save some money.

the room was very clean and had a great smell.the property looks very clean and the stuff was great.will stay again on my way back through.it is very well lite around property i felt very safe and i love the new paint they are doing the rooms in and around outside of building.i have stayed here before and i was great then just like this time.i have read the reviews on this motel i have never had a bad thing to say about this days inn.i very proud of all the work they are doing to make the place even better.

Crying for maintenance, repair, and upgrade; hiring contractors that know the trade or who are being hamstrung from being able to do the needed repairs/maintenance.. strong musty smell . not clean .some type of questionable huge stain under sheets on one of the beds..move on ..most of the responses you get are we are sorry we're in tge process of upgrading our hotel..BULL..start with the cleaning crew if upgrades are supposedly going on..that's a good place to start..you can be old...but still clean..i wouldn't rate it 1 star

I guess for the cost of the hotel I would expect it to be cleaner than what the room was. I didn't even want to shower. they advertised a breakfast bar, and it literary jus that, breakfast snack bar with coffee.

Horrible Dirty Scary!

In all of my 58 years this is by far the worst hotel experience ever! There were bugs all over, dirty bedding, blood on the floor and the place was filthy, scary! I can’t believe hotels.com associates with this place! The front desk attendant wouldn’t answer and was MIA! In the morning there was no hot water, it was so gross. We are asking for a full refund or extra stamps!

Very budget friendly but outdated

Upon check-in the front desk person was very nice and explained the hotel is going through a remodel so gave us one of those rooms. We did not experience any of the issues other posters have mentioned and felt the room was adequate. Was surprised to see that there were not places near the bad to plug in our cell phone or the more updated receptacles for electronics.
