7.6 out of 10, Good, (5 reviews)
"La struttura ha i suoi anni e si vedeva, moquette in po' consumata. Finestra della camera che dava sulla cucina con odori che salivano ed entravano in camera, non essendoci il climatizzatore era necessario dormire con le finestre aperte. Quindi rumore e odori. Il servizio ristorante era fino alle 20-30. Poi dovevi spostarti a 20km nella città più grande per mangiare. Per il prezzo pagato comunque era in media. Pulizia okay."

"This hotel and restaurant Was very disappointing since it has much potential. The room was quite nice, clean and large. The hotel description indicated air conditioning however none was in the room, so 30°C day feels incredibly hot in an upper loft-style room. The bars in the town are open late and you can hear everything on the street. The restaurant should be avoided. The fettuccine con pollo literally tasted like vomit, and the Mediterranean salad was quite flavourless. Drive to Cesky...

The thing of her was that offcourse it is a hotel but gave a feeling like I were coming there for years already. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast was as well very good so no ant complain from me. What I also found nice was that they had a good place for my bike. "

Apartmány U Pavla

Apartmány U Pavla

8/10 Good
"Nice place but could use more attention to housekeeping. Trash from previous guest was still in trash can. Towels not folded-just thrown on top of shower door. We were the only guests so plenty of space in communal kitchen. Otherwise would have been very crowded. Questions sent to host not always answered. Gave it a 4 for the price and location which we thought was great. If not for that I would have rated it a 3"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Čížkrajice?
The best time to go to Čížkrajice is during the late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the South Bohemia Region's countryside and historic towns. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and authentic experience. The landscapes are particularly picturesque during these times, with spring blossoms or autumn colours enhancing the natural beauty.

For couples looking for a romantic and tranquil escape, late spring is particularly appealing. The gardens and natural parks around Čížkrajice, such as those near the nearby town of Třeboň or the Hluboká Castle, are in full bloom, offering beautiful settings for leisurely strolls and photography. The longer daylight hours also allow for extended exploration.

Solo travellers who enjoy outdoor activities and cultural discovery will appreciate early autumn. The weather is still mild enough for cycling or hiking along the region's well-marked trails, and the harvest season often brings local festivals and markets.
