"Beautiful view and incredible wildlife! We were lucky to get to meet our host , Bud and Claire . They are fantastic people and helpful and responsive when little things needed attention. We stayed for 35 days , My husband and myself , We also had family visit for a week . The house was big enough for everyone to enjoy , the location was in one of the nicest areas with complete privacy , but also a quick ride down to restaurants and excursions. We cooked dinner most nights in the well equipped kitchen , We bought fish every night and made healthy and delicious meals. Mornings were spent in the pool with monkeys and toucans and butterfly’s , The amount of wildlife that we were able to see was incredible, We enjoyed everything about this rental . The house had two air conditioner, one in the master downstairs and the other master upstairs, They also provided us with a portable air conditioner if we needed . The house is far enough up to not need it at all . Freddy was a sweet guy who kept the pool cleaned , katte was the housekeeper who came one day before the kids arrived and did a great job cleaning and refreshing the flowers all around the house . So many things to do in the area , We went zip lining with the OSa canopy tour ( not for the faint at heart ) We went fishing and caught fish and they cleaned it up for us , We came home abd had fresh fish sandwiches. We also went horseback riding which was so much fun . Just rent this home , Claire and Bud are incredible people . "

"Loved the pool and the fact that the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, they even went through the trouble of bringing “manzanas de agua” from the tree,clean them and served them pool side on a plate with salt on the side. No charge for this, just kindness. When I decided to stay an extra night they figured out how even without a reservation. Gracias a todos. I will return. Pura Vida! "

"We loved our 3-week stay here. Our favourite part was definitely the wildlife - we saw more here than any other place we’ve visited! The space was larger than we expected and the beds were very comfortable. The driveway is steep but doable without 4x4. We wished the pool was a bit warmer but it was so refreshing on a hot day. Pura Vida! "

"The good: This is an excellent hotel with spectacular views, friendly staff, and a zen atmosphere. The bad: There is 1.8 KM of unpaved steep rocky road before you get to the gate and another kilometer before getting to the property. This is bad enough that we decided to give up 2 prepaid nights and leave early despite having a 2WD SUV (To their credit, hotel credit us for our incidentals, which accounted for part of the nightly rate). I highly recommend this hotel as long as you have known brand AWD SUV. The hotel casually informs you of this as a requirement after you book, which was too late for us."
