"We were confused and could not follow the instructions on how to check in. Really needed to have a car because you check in at one place and then are sent to where you are actually staying. Never did figure it out to check in. Very difficult if you have to schlep your bags by yourself. "

"Travelled with my wife and only chose the town because she was keen to experience the nearby Bagni San Fillipo.But Gli Archi and the town Abbadia San Salvatore both pleasantly surprised us. The house and our room were spotless and the owner lovelly.Room was huge and breakfast tasty. The Abbadia (Abbey) proved to be memorable,especially the multi columned crypt! Nearby Ospedale was perfect for all day free parking an easy walk from B&B."

Be aware, this is a mountain-too town so parking is a couple blocks away with steep walking. Call host before arrival for directions to park. It was difficult for me or Expedia to contact host, but he was cooperative and helpful when we arrived. Very nice, large room and bath. Quiet considering it is on main street.
