"Did a one night Saturday stay. Enjoyed the pool area and gym. Beautiful pool and well equipped gym. Just unhappy that the bar at the pool stopped serving food at 6pm and drinks at 7 pm for a Saturday night when there were still plenty of people around. "

"While the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, beware that if there is an onsite event they do not follow the sound ordnance prohibitions of West Lake Hills. We stayed over the weekend and they had two weddings scheduled where one had music blasting until 1:30 AM on Sunday. Normally I’m a heavy sleeper, but with the windows rattling it was impossible to rest. This tarnished an otherwise great stay at Hotel Viata."

"Rooms with a kitchen a good size, location good and no road noise at back of hotel in pool area."

"As I sat in my room, I heard the lock click, and the door opened - I had the safety latch on, so they were not able to get inside. I immediately went to the door, and no one was visible. I called the front desk to investigate and was told it was a maintenance person who accidentally went to the wrong room. This behavior is not acceptable under any circumstances. Any worker should knock on a door and identify themselves before trying to access a room. They also should not run away when they realize a mistake was made. If this were truly what happened, my expectation would be for the person to remain at the door with their identification clearly displayed to explain who they are and why they were attempting to access the room. After calling the front desk, I would also expect to receive a communication from leadership letting me know the issue was documented and escalated, and assuring me there was a plan in place to reduce the chance it could happen in the future. Definitely not the response I expected from a Hilton facility."

"Room was clean and spacious, l highly recommend staying here! The gym is good and the indoor pool is small but still good. There is a small 1 sided basketball court. Breakfast is good, coffee, eggs, cereals, waffles, tortillas, meats and toast are options. "

"Although the issue was resolved by front desk, its hard to not comment on it. Initially, we booked for a queen studio and were at first impressed with the hotel. Upon very little inspection, meaning- being more aware of surroundings- there were at minimum 5 dead roaches located throughout the room. Simply plain as day out in the open. Imagine the ones we would have found if we attempted to look for them. One near the stove, three spread across the floors, one located slightly under the bed, and one in the bathroom. The front desk upon notice did upgrade our room and offer a fresh pair of sheets as compensation. But the room differences were clear as day. The new room smelled more fresh, lacked roaches on genuine inspection, and for the most part was satisfactory. The previous roach room- did not smell as freshly cleaned. Definitely satisfied with staff, the elevator was out of service at the time- amenities looked well kept and breakfast was fairly good and offered variety each day."

"Our room was extremely clean and felt very safe. Staff were friendly and efficient, the bed was comfy and everything was nice! The breakfast was a little underwhelming, but still perfectly fine for a free hotel breakfast. We will for sure be back. "
