Great stay and breakfast. Very helpful. They rescued us when there were no taxis or evening buses at the train station.

I choose this property because offers free parking. However, the location is not the safest so forget about walking down to the local store. Another thing was the smell coming out of the canal that goes right next to the property. The receptionist can get you taxi to the train station to see Cinque Terre if you want to beat the crowds if not the hotel offers shuttle at 8 .

It is an older hotel. However the place was not very clean, the toilet was loose at our room, there were open soap poaches, everything is far away so you need a car or take the bus to trai terminals or city center, DO NOT BUY THEIR TRAIN TICKETS!!!! the host lady tried to sell us the train tickets more expensive than the train station same thing with bus tickets. at the train station they will sell the cinque Terre tickets for €16 and honestly I did not have to show my train ticket not once 😜

It was very clean and served the best breakfast I could hope for. It also offered a shuttle bus to the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. It also offers free parking. This is my favorite hotel and is also a good value.

Overall it was a pleasant stay at Ghironi. We booked this hotel because it offers free parking, complimentary breakfast and shuttle service to and from the train station (for a small reasonable fee per person). Hotel staff were friendly and answered our questions. The reception also sells Cinque Terre cards which costs 1 euro more than the train station, but saves you the hassle of lining up at the train station. The hotel itself is located in a quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance from small supermarkets, where we were able to stock up on food and water supplies for the day trip to Cinque Terre. Our room has a balcony which is on top of a beautiful orange tree in front of the hotel.

The hotel is old but quite well maintained, The AC in the room was really very bad, noisy and only managed to cool a part of the room. For the other I had to ask for a fan so that my children could sleep. The breakfast is very good. The staff very friendly. The shuttle service is good. Maybe the location is not the best option if you are going to visit Cinque Terre, I recommend you near the train station. If you go with a car if it is very comfortable because it has free parking. Another detail that let them know before leaving, always leave the sign on the door “Do not disturb” and anyway that the two days came to make the room, it is basic that they respect what the client wants.

Staff was amazing, spoke good English and was helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable and good air conditioning. However the location was too far from the port and train station. The taxis from each was approximately 10 to 13 Eurs for two people. Although their website says the shuttle is free, you have to pay a fee to ride.

We had a very good stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and even gave us the room early before the check-in time at no charge which was very convenient for us as we could start early on our tours. They also readily provided information about the restaurants and how to reach to places. My only concern was the wifi was very poor throughout the hotel. Though the hotel is far from the train station and city centre, their shuttle service was definitely very useful and reasonably priced. Our room and the bath room was big compared to other hotels we had stayed in.

We were passing through the area and for that it served the purpose. Front desk personnel was excellent, the best!! What we didn't like was that beds and pillows were very hard. Location seemed questionable

Basic old school hotel, no frills, but comfortable. Not a lot of extra amenities or close to the city center, but they did provide shuttle service (for a fee) to the ferry dock for day trips to the Cinque Terre. The one standout was the breakfast buffet, which was much more extensive than most of the other hotels we visited. All in all it was ok for a one night stay.

A great launch point for Cinqueterra
We loved the spacious rooms, the very clean bathroom, THE SHUTTLE to the train station, all the travel help and suggestions from the multilingual staff, and the great breakfast. We will be back!

Lots of mosquitoes in the room. We ended up buying mosquitoe repellent and swatting some. Maybe it was the season. Mosquitoes were everywhere. Room had a sweaty smell. Otherwise it was good. Staff was very nice and courteous . Great breakfast.

Great place to stay!!
First... the staff was excellent. Took care of everything we needed. The room is typical for this price range... it was what we expected. They offer free transportation to and from the train station all day, making this a great place to stay if you are going to Cinque Terre. There is plenty of free parking if you have a car. They have a small bar. The breakfast was very nice. Its a short six minute walk to a very nice family owned pizza place. All in all, it was a very nice stay and if we were to go back, I would stay again.

Easy parking, friendly staff.
Hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is not in the center of the town but I walked from it to La Spezia Centralle and enjoyed the walk. I would stay there again.

The staff is friendly and service is quite good. But in the middle of October the room was a little bit cold. Central heating starts in November, they say. Breakfast not bad but you will be fed of it on the third day. And it does not change. Huge free parking is a big plus.

Comfortable clean beds, room and en-suite; fresh white quality towels and toiletries each day and change of white cotton bed linen every two days contributed to an enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and the breakfast foodstuff varied and plentiful; the staff very efficient, checking supplies and tidying the tables.
