This home was an excellent choice for our family coming from 3 directions. The neighborhood was walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. The hot tub and bonus area in the basement gave us plenty of room to spread out.
The house was great. It was clean. Communicating with the host was so easy and the host was very helpful throughout the whole process. Would 100% stay here again.
Stayed at this property with a few buddies from high school for weekend reunion in Cincy. Nice property. My only 1st world complaint: wish the bathrooms had counters instead of pedestal sinks so we had a place to set our toiletries. Convenient location to downtown Cincy and quaint little neighborhood.
Our family recently stayed at this property for a wedding, and it was great. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, play games, watch movies, etc. It was great being able to have a kitchen to cook in. The beds were all very comfortable. We loved the old charm of the house. The home felt in a safe area, although it was on a main street, but this also meant very convenient to everything we did in the area, on the Kentucky side, as well as driving 2 miles to Cincinatti. It had easy freeway access as well to grocery stores, etc. There are a lot of cute stores just down the road on that main street as well. We loved our stay, and would definitely stay there again! The host was great at communicating and responding, very helpful.
This home was gorgeous! The host was wonderfully helpful, kind, and prompt to reply to any questions we had. They were amazing !The home was so comfortable and spacious. It had a beautiful old world charm with lovely modern touches and comforts. The front door was so beautiful, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub on the back deck after long days of walking and exploring Cincinnati. Our older daughter enjoyed having her own space in the lovely finished basement. The upstairs bedrooms were wonderful and cozy with lots of space. The area around the home was also amazing! It was very walkable with many great restaurants and shops nearby. It was also a quick drive to everything we wanted to explore in Cincinnati. It was a perfect and relaxing stay. We were so sad to leave, and are hoping to visit again. Don't hesitate to book. You will love staying here.
Host communication was great. Lovely older home with a lot of charm in a nice neighborhood. Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. House was very clean. Would definitely recommend.
Nice cozy home in a quaint neighborhood. There were 7 adults on a girls trip. This house is a 10min drive to downtown and about a 30 minute walk to the Ohio River where Americas River Roots festival was taking place. The kitchen had nice essentials to cook a pasta dinner.
The location of the house was perfect for our vacation to Cincinnati. There is so much to do for families in the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area. I would highly recommend this property if you don’t want to stay in downtown Cincinnati, but yet be close enough for all the attractions.
We were in town to watch our son play baseball. Property was as advertised and communication was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!
This house was perfect for our family as we came back into N KY my mother’s funeral. Plenty of space, beds were very comfortable. It’s a great house. Communication with the agency very responsive. Highly recommend.
Doctor's Retreat was a perfect fit for all our family plans! So much to see and so little time! Thanks to our host for making our stay enjoyable!ourstacomfortable
My friends and I had a wonderful experience staying at this property. The house itself was gorgeous and it was old but super well taken care of. The house was very clean and the check in process was very smooth. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a fan in the room for extra comfort as well. The hot tub was also a lovely bonus! A big breakfast was made in the kitchen and the appliances/kitchenware provided was spot on for what we needed. If I had anything at all to say that was not completely positive, the coffee maker (the pot maker, not the keurig) was a bit aggressive and on the fritz and the trash cans out back were full upon arrival but these things were not a big deal whatsoever. We loved the big front porch and the overall vibe of the house!
Overall the house was nice and in a great neighborhood. The yard however is growing over with weeds even on the pathways. It also didn’t help that the unit sleeps 9 and there are only four forks. No hot pads for cooking either.
House was charming! We are from a rural area, so sitting on a front porch of a little street and having neighbors so near (the houses' roofs were almost touching!) was a true novelty for us and exactly the experience we were looking for on this trip to visit the Ark. We had three generations (30's, 60's, 80's) in the house and all were happy with it. The neighbors were very nice, too! We talked with a young girl walking down the street pushing a stroller with a ferret one morning and had two friendly cats that would visit us as we sat on the front porch :) Management was always quick to respond to any questions. Loved the hot tub for aching muscles after a busy day of sightseeing, and you are so close to so many things to do, like the riverboats and everything in Cincinnati. Thanks for sharing your house with some folks from NC!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Big, clean, centrally located, right across the street from a 24 hour circle K that the lights will shine all night long for you. No window coverings on any of the first floor windows while living on a very busy street. Neighbors’ houses touch this house and there appear to be cameras from your neighbors pointing at the the hottub in addition to people peeking out windows at you. No privacy! They sent someone at 9:45pm to pick up trash that had been in the backyard for 2 days. We just looked out the window and saw a man with his cell phone light searching the yard. After we were brave enough to ask what he was doing he told us he was there to pick up the trash. There is a liquor store and pot store also across the street. There are several stray cats that hang out on the porches and one bit my grandson. Everyone will share the upstairs bathroom during the night unless you want to go downstairs. The 3rd upstairs bedroom has no vents in it all. You can choose no privacy and keep your door completely open or no air conditioning and being very hot and close it. The half bathroom is also the passage way to the downstairs bathroom and entertainment area. Bring your own coffee mugs because they just have little tiny ones. There is a ring doorbell and 3 different lockboxes on the front door. Use the one inside the screen door after you finally pull it hard enough to get in. The house was spotless and huge and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t feel safe there.
