Amazing views in OTR w/lots of parking & backyard!
Take in the magnificent views on the 2 decks overlooking downtown Cincinnati! Easily walkable to Findlay Market, Rhinegeist and the Streetcar!
With a large backyard, a safe tight-knit community and off street parking, it's perfect for families who need a yard and space to stretch out. The decor is modern and cozy with lots of natural tones, a mix of mid-century & nordic furniture and accented with lush indoor plants.
*We bleach all surfaces & linens, use disinfecting sprays extensively and have installed HEPA filters.
*Please no large events or parties* The building is a completely renovated 18th century duplex and you'll be staying in the 2 floor apartment with 2 decks that provide incredible sweeping views of downtown. There is another apartment below this apartment that is completely separate with its own entrance on the opposite end of the building(though the laundry room in the basement is shared between apartments). I'm be available for any issues or questions you may have! Its located in a rare, tight knit neighborhood made of 2 streets on the edge of Over the Rhine. The south and west directions are bordered by 30 foot retaining walls and the north is bordered by the steep bluffs of mt. bellevue, which make it much safer than most anywhere in downtown Cincinnati. It's a cool mix of entrepreneurs, artists, designers, retirees, young families and students who live here for the incredible views of Cincinnati. The neighborhood is safe with a very active neighborhood watch. Neighbors are often walking their dogs or jogging by and will wave and greet you, it's a very lovely place! This place is convenient to both University of Cincinnati and Over the Rhine, as it lies in between both areas. FC Cincinnati games, Findlay Market and the streetcar stop at Rhinegeist brewery are all within a few blocks. You can board the free streetcar and take it all the way to the river to watch a Reds or a Bengals game or take it halfway to Washington Park. Most anything in Cincinnati is within a 5-10 minute drive!

This was a great place to stay! Very comfortable beds, ice space to sit and visit in the living room. Great parking situation. Would definitely stay there again!
Very comfortable stay the beds and pillows were fantastic. The views from the balconies was astonishing. All good vibes and didn't have any weird creeks in the night which I was eerie about because of the age of the building. I am saving this for future stays for sure!
This was a lovely space with beautiful views of the city from two different balconies. The steps are steep to the two bedrooms upstairs so I would recommend booking with older kids only.
Lovely place for a family or friends. Views were excellent. Location is ideal as a homebase as it's an easy five minute drive downtown or a two minute drive to UC and all points beyond. Host was super responsive. Would stay again!
It’s located on a hill and offers an unbeatable view of the city. The room is lovely—beautifully decorated, clean, and tidy. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient. We highly recommend it!
We just spent one night as our son had orientation at the university. We live several hours away so thought it would be nice to check out rentals available for the future visits to Cincinnati. The place is as advertised and was surprisingly quiet for the city. We loved the view and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely rent again if available when we come to visit.
With two decks overlooking the city, this really did have a great view. It is in a quiet little neighborhood and it took us no more than 12 minutes to get downtown, to the zoo, and even over to Newport for the aquarium. Would stay here again.
We enjoyed our time in Cincinnati very much. This house's location and views are wonderful. Truly a fantastic place. The property was clean, well stocked, and just what we needed. This is the kind of property you want to find when renting on VRBO.The stairs to the upstairs shared bedroom were a bit shallow and were a bit too exposed to have our two kids, 4 & 6, stay upstairs. Not a complaint by any means and they didn't mind having the downstairs bedroom at all. With the bathroom right there for trips in the night, it just made more sense.
We gathered together for a weekend to celebrate my husband’s 60th with our children. We loved the location, the views, and having such accessible parking was definitely an added bonus. The home itself is clean, quaint, and spacious enough for the six of us. We really enjoyed our stay.
What a fun and great place for our one night adventure for two couples from central OH. With quick access to both the Findlay Market area and UC for a concert at Bogart’s. We would come back to spend more time checking the immediate neighborhood and further reaches of Cincy and relaxing on the decks for views of the city and KY.
Great place, located close to everything. Awesome views from both decks. Quiet street, parking was fantastic. There was a little concern about the individuals in the area during the drive in and around the proximity to the residence but a completely different vibe soon on arrival. Would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, quiet with access to city enjoyments. The wife loved the cleanliness of bedding!!
We have a daughter who plays softball for MSJ and was not going to make it home for Easter weekend. Ben was an amazing host for the 5 of us and our dog to spend some family time together. The location was great; set back on a quiet street, a dedicated parking spot and a yard for the pup. The balcony and rooftop patio had excellent views and were a great place to sit and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee (or espresso) before everyone woke up.Plenty of amenities, supplies and lots of attention to detail. There was even a set of dog bowls and bed for our girl!Aesthetically
We loved it! Everything was comfortable for me, my sister, my daughter and son in law. The view was fantastic and we especially enjoyed the evenings on the balcony. There was a beautiful mourning dove who visited us every day. Easy access for Uber to pick us up. Thank you so much for a lovely place to vacation.
Exactly as desribed. Beautiful neighborhood. Make sure to walk about the neighborhood. Take time to read the informative placards that have been installed throughout the neighborhood. Nice dog park. Friendly neighbors.
Great view. Inside cleanliness pretty good with one exception which was dealt with quickly. Outside needs some weeding. Reasonably priced. If you are looking to stay in the area, it definitely is worth considering. Quick drive to about anywhere. I wouldn’t walk outside the neighborhood.
My friend and I stayed at this property for a long weekend to explore the city. The location was perfect to see everything we wanted to see in and around the city. The views from the property itself were stunning. We spent every morning and evening sitting out on one of the patios enjoying the view. the beds were very comfortable and the property itself very charming! The only thing that might not be ideal for some people is that there was no television in the common living room; rather, there was a TV in each of the bedrooms. That worked out fine for us, but it might not work for some people. Other than that the stay was perfect! Would definitely stay there again!
For my birthday we decided to do a stay-cation in our own city. Staying in this home was a good decision. The parking was sufficient for our truck ( there is parking for an electric car). There is a unit on the bottom floor. I have to brag a bit. They may have had a view. But I will tell you, the view from the first and second floor was simply amazing. I'm still not sure which is best while staying here, the sunset or the sunrise. It was nice to tour the city as a tourist and retreat to a safe place that felt like home. We woke the next morning and had a cup of Starbucks. I appreciated the fact that sugar, creamer, and coffee was provided. I usually pack these items but because we were in town I didn't and was grateful to find that this home had everything we needed. We also were comfortable enough to use items that were already open. Super plus in our book because this is something we normally do not do!!! The beds were very comfy and the water was hot. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Ben for sharing your home with us.
My son had an doctor appointment at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital that required an over night stay. Staying in hotels are confining to one room generally and doesnt provide much of a home like feel. Overall we enjoyed the property & our stay. Thr highlight was certainly the balcony views over looking the city. Gorgeous! I have 4 "issues" in general.
Pet hair all over couch
Could see downstairs light from lower apartment coming through bedroom floor.
No TV in living area.
Non-adjustable thermostat. I sweated i all night. Generally im at 72 at home. It felt 74-75 all night.
That said i would stay again. Felt safe, was conveniently 2 miles from CCH. Just please get rid of the dog hair. If im paying for a cleaning fee i expect the person prior to me did as well, thus there should be no pet hair all over the couch.
