"The location can’t be beat. Loved the beachfront view from my balcony on a high floor. Also loved the buffet dinner on Friday night (European cuisine). My only complaint is that I was unable to use the in-room safe because it was too difficult to operate."

"My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of March to celebrate her birthday. We chose it for its location close to the Poema del Mar aquarium. Having checked-in, we were allocated room 304 on the third floor. The room looked out onto the street where the hotel entrance was. Whilst small, there were adequate facilities for a two night stay, which included a fridge, tv, free standing fan, built in wardrobe with shelves and safe and two single beds. We found the beds comfortable and had no trouble sleeping. The en suite had a bath with shower, loo and vanity basin. Sachets of shampoo, shower gel and soap was provided. One thing that was missing was a plug for the sink. We only had one bath towel, but one was provided on request when I went to reception. Water was hot and plentiful. We opted for room only so cannot comment on the breakfast, However, we did have 2 good size pieces of cake with a tea and a coffee which was a very reasonable 6.50 euros. Also a bottle of Dorada black was 1.90 and a pint of Cruzcampo 3.00 euro, which for a hotel bar was good. The lobby area had some comfy seats and a book swap. We found all the staff helpful and polite. The Poema del Mar is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Unfortunately, despite it being just accross the motorway, there is no faster way over. There were plenty of small bars and restaurants close by, but unfortunately, the weather restricted our use of them."

"Breakfast was fabulous and the hotel has great amenities. The Michelin restaurants were world class but the general restaurant (1890) was ok but there was too big a difference between the quality of the restaurants. The biggest issue was the main bar where the service in the evening was very poor with a 25 min wait to get a drink. Many people were unhappy about this. Overall the hotel is very nice but be prepared for the bar.."

"The room was as expected, basic, clean, and comfortable. It fully met our needs and we enjoyed the views of the cruise liners, close proximity of the beaches, restaurants, shops and public transport. Would recommend and would book again."

"I was impressed with this hotel. The staff, particularly, Jose Maria, were extremely helpful, the room was stylishly designed, the location was great, close to the beach but far enough away to be quiet, and the breakfast selection was extensive. The only drawback was a chair that would not go under the very small desk. Not a huge problem for a leisure hotel. "
