Search Cicuco hotels

The best time to go to Cicuco is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to April.

During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny days and lower humidity, making it ideal for exploring the town and surrounding areas comfortably. The Magdalena River is also at its most accessible during this period, which is superb for boat trips and enjoying the river's activities. This is particularly appealing for travellers who enjoy outdoor excursions and want to make the most of the region's natural beauty without the interruption of heavy rainfall.

While May to November is the wet season, characterised by higher rainfall and humidity, Cicuco still offers a great experience for those who don't mind the occasional shower. The landscape becomes lush and green, and the river levels are higher, which can offer different perspectives for photography and boat tours.
